Hey Goodreads peeps. I feel like it's been awhile since I've been completely enraptured by a good book. I always come back to books I thoroughly enjoyed in middle school and some of high school, but obviously I would want a more adult version as the Hey Goodreads peeps. I feel like it's been awhile since I've been completely enraptured by a good book. I always come back to books I thoroughly enjoyed in middle school and some of high school, but obviously I would want a more adult version as the writing was more young adult. The series was the Fearless series by Francine Pascal and the premise is a girl living in New York, born without the "fear gene". Without this gene, she is able to be somewhat of a superhero and fights some crime and there was a lot of crazy and mysterious family line stuff going on that I can't remember. And of course a little romance. Any recommendations for a twenty-something grad student who likes badass female characters and some action and thrills? Also, I love fantasy but haven't read it in ages. Another childhood book I remember loving was Ella Enchanted, but haven't read many adult fantasies. Thanks! :)...more
