Way back in 2010, my English teacher once told our entire class that not all books are worthy of reading. In my mind I was disagreeing. I said, "why would literary agents ever accept the manuscript and publishing companies ever buy it, if it's not worthy for the readers to read it?" Thought I could read whatever I want for educational purposes (learn the writing style of a particular writer through reading his output without considering the genre in which he has done it)
But after having learned the difference between true and false convert (2014), all the things that I do are put immediately into consideration. That includes what I share, I say, I watch, I tune into, and yes, what I read.
