READING TASTES I'm more of a character-driven reader than a plot-driven reader. Though it amazes that authors build worlds beyond imagination, I'm more enthralled with how conflicts and complicated relationship dynamics will drive their transformation.
IF YOU'RE GONNA FRIEND ME I'm genuinely interested in chatting about books with people who I share similar reading tastes with and have made quite a few friends here, so I'm quite picky. I don't mind if you're a newbie, welcome to the community! Just don't be a friend collector and add those books first so I can see if we match!
RATING SYSTEM I don't really have a rating system, it just depends on my feelings and mood. However, I take the Goodreads ratings literally, so 3 stars is NOT a low rating. I just simply LIKED it, not REALLY liked it. I'm a harsh rater and rarely give 5 stars. So if you see anything rated as such, I honestly enjoyed it and gobbled up that story. I don't read books with less than 3.7 average rating here, unless a friend recommended it. ...more
