It's been said before; but I can't not write. It's in my wiring, tangled as it is. My grandma, Nan, published two books and loved mysteries. I've published four children's books, now, both self and traditionally. I kept going, despite the rejections, the pitfalls of distribution, one heart-stopping bad review, and the fact that we'd be in a cardboard box if relying on my income in the beginning. I'm glad I did, proud even, that I stuck with writing because I love immersing myself in another world and making kids (and sometimes adults) happy.
