I'm not sure if this is the kind of book you are looking for, but it is really good. It's about Mara, a girl with PTSD. It's a bit of a mystery, but I wouldn't say it's too much like Pretty Little Liars (though I've never read the series)...It's has some strong language and only a teeny bit of mature content, so if you don't think that you'd be okay with that, then I wouldn't suggest it. Otherwise, I definitely suggest this book! It's great!
