Rats are actually generally very CLEAN. Generally, they LIKE being CLEAN. Mine are always trying to clean themselves. :'3

And no, they do not try to eat my finger off. ...Okay. Brownie and Kira do, but in Kira's defense, she is an albino rat and doesn't see very well so she thinks my finger is good. As for Brownie...I don't know.

Still, rats are generally very loving, SMART and clean, and they DO have personalities of their own! I've owned many and seen all this first hand.

I think rats are cute. Just not when they're dead and being dragged through the hall way by my cat.

Actually, this was a smaller dog, not much bigger then a Chihuahua o_o;;;;; It might have been a mouse or just a small rat...still...it was a rodent...

I don't get how some people think rats are gross and mice are cute. How does that make any sense? Rats and mice are pretty much the same thing!

People are just weird. I agree, mice and rats are very similar.

I think most people imagine a black sewer rat from New York. Not all rats look like that and I think most people don't get that.
