I admit. I watched the movies and read the 3rd book, and most of the 4th.
I liked what I read, and I am sure that the books are better then the movie but I haven't had time.

Holly (peachylee20) I can't even express how much of a part HP has played in my childhood. I grew up listening to my mother read the books to me before bed, and I read them myself when I was about ten/eleven. I plan to re-read them asap, and have all seven copies here beside my bed at all times. They're torn and poor looking from use, but they're wonderful! I think they'll be passed down through my children and theirs.
I've seen all the movies and get made fun of a lot for my big 'Nerdism' over them, but Harry Potter is the magic that stays forever!! :)

It's so amazing it's like you're actually in the book I SWEAR! The castle is so life like it's cool!!!!!!!!!!

Holly (peachylee20) :O I am kind of jealous! I tend to not like to go to places like Disney World and things, because it's so crowded and ucky. I remember going to six flags when I was younger and that was a horrible time, although I'm almost sure it was because we lost my dad for a while, and I'd probably have a much better time now, but they're just so loud, and when you go in the Summer it so freaking hot! lol

I went in January after new years. It was off season so it was pretty quiet considering how it usually is

message 11: by Holly (new)

Holly (peachylee20) Ohh, I see! :) That's good, because it seems like it would be even more nauseating than DW. Do you enjoy going to places where it's so crowded like that?

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

Not at all, line's are too long, you get lost easy, and you get to do almost nothing because there're people EVERYWHERE! January was a good time, the lines were only about fifteen minutes usually. The longest line was about twenty minutes which isn't that bad because the scenery was cool.

Charlotte (charlottep) These are wonderful books AND movies. I think they did a really good job with the movies, but of course, the books are ALWAYS better!
