How do you hate The Hunger Games?! Gasp!

My least favorite book is The Secret Language if Girls. I read it for book club. It was awful!

yessss Someone told me i was like Simon.
But I think they meant it as a complement

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

Ew ew ew ew ew. I hated lord of the flies I had to read it over the summer. Charlie: it probably was meant as a compliment, Simon was a guy who was one that didn't turn evil and slunk around a lot.

I HATED Genesis: by .... I'm not sure and it's not the book in the Bible though

1.Marked by PC Cast (it was worse than twilight so you know how bad it was)
2.Twilight saga
3.Princess Diaries
4.The Night Circus
5.The Body Finder
6.Dear John

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

I liked Body Finder... But that WAS two years ago.

I liked Twilight...and that seems a lifetime ago.

Lol. I started it in June and still haven't even got to the part where she finds out Edward is a vampire. It's okay I guess, I'm just not very motivated to read it.

Hahaha!Don;t,Sarah.A waste of time believe me:P

Jessica (Goldenfurpro) (goldenfurproductions) I hated the book Sweet Evil
read my lovely rant for details http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

message 20: by Aurora (new)

Aurora | 150 comments The Tale of Despereaux. I hate that book.

Oh haha a couple of weeks ago I was bored so I asked people to recommend me the worst book they've read. This discussion made me think of that.

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

I have to disagree with Despereaux however. I adore that book but to each their own

message 22: by Aurora (new)

Aurora | 150 comments My teacher read it to my class in third grade. I have a hard time with comprehension when I hear things being read, and all I remember is the scene in the dungeon and something about skulls and death. It freaked me out.

Island of the Blue Dolphins was not enjoyable, I'll agree with all of you guys on that.

And Twilight. And pretty much anything in the romance genre.

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

Mine did too... Not to sound stalkerish but where do you live?

message 24: by lafon حمزة, Which comes first: Thought or action? (new)

lafon حمزة نوفل (lafon) | 549 comments Mod
It's funny that you guys didn't enjoy Island. I thought it was pretty good. Not amazing mind you, but good. One I disliked was Moby-Dick. I fell asleep every time I read it.

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

I for one never read island of the blue dolphins OR moby dick.

message 26: by Aurora (new)

Aurora | 150 comments North Carolina. You?

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

Virginia. For a second I thought you were in my class which would have been WEIRD BUT COOL

message 28: by Aurora (new)

Aurora | 150 comments That would've been really cool and slightly weird, but unfortunately, I do not remember a Tab (or Tabitha) in my class, and I have my yearbook to prove it. Plus, what grade are you in now? (If you don't mind me asking....)

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

I felt like being paranoid so I'm using a pseudonym presently (that's why my last name changed randomly) and there isn't an Aurora either in my yearbook. I'm a freshman (9th grade)

message 30: by Aurora (new)

Aurora | 150 comments Yeah, I'm a junior. So, sadly, we weren't in the same class ever. And no, I'm not using a pseudonym, which is why my last name never changes. Hmm though searching google with certain things actually does come up with me on the first page, one of them is for goodreads, and the other I'm not going to tell you about.

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay please note I was not trying to stalk you just so you know.

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

Nevermore by James Patterson

message 33: by Aurora (new)

Aurora | 150 comments I got that, Tab. I know you're not a stalker.

Oh yeah, Maximum Ride was a total fail after the first three books.

message 34: by Horton (new)

Horton Deakins (hortondeakins) | 35 comments Time Pullers by Horton Deakins
Y'all do know that Patterson doesn't write any of his own books anymore, right? He only sketches them out and lets his team of ghost writers finish them. He sometimes does more than one book in a day.

I didn't like Vampire Academy (*looks around to spot anyone who want to attack*), Prince of Fools, David Copperfield(This book made me cry...not touching...it was just so boring!) and the last but never the least Between the Assassinations!!!

Agreed. :) But just out of curiosity, when did you read it?

message 41: by Johns (new)

Johns I have hated, will hate, and am hating the stupid book The Miraculous Journey of Edward Touline. But then again, I was a nonreading second grader then . . . . Nah, it still sucks.

message 42: by [deleted user] (new)

Vampire Academy sounds terrible

message 43: by Johns (new)

Johns I hate vampire books except The Mortal Instruments series.... To think I liked Twilight. . . . *Shudder*

I hate them too.

message 45: by [deleted user] (new)

Edward Tulane was amazing when I was in third grade but I haven't read it since then so I don't know.

Oh I have another book I disliked: Shoebag. It's about a cockroach that gets turned into a human. *Shiver* (oh I also dislike that book too)
