Ned's silver dollar was part of the memento box, right? Well, didn't he spend it on popcorn at the fair? I thought he spent it. Can anyone clarify?

I wondered that, too. He make have had enough pocket change to cover the bag of popcorn and Miss Sadie just thought it was from the silver dollar. Also why does Jinx have the silver dollar when Ned won it?

i was confused too until rereading, ned gets the silver dollar in the second jinx and ned story/flashback while theyre at the county fair. ned wins it after the monkey man trys to trick him into spending his money thinkin he'd easily win the money. reread chapter "the victory quilt" if this didnt help
