Saphira sat down on her bed, sighing. "Oh goody, more mystery. When do we get told what's behind all this?" she said to no one in particular.
Flynn grinned and literally jumped into his bad. All of his fear was gone, and he looked like a rabbit who'd found acres of lettuce. Very happy. I'm a spy. Hell yeah.
Ash laid on her bed. She hadn't expected one, but she was grateful for it. All the sleepless nights were catching up to her. Her eyes, opened just wide enough to take in everything, scanned the blank walls. After a moment, Ash decided she would have to find some writing utensil and brighten up the dorm. Sure, she would probably get in trouble, but she didn't mind. If she could lighten the mood of this place, trouble was worth it.
Kyle swallowed. He sat down on one of the beds and suppresed a scream. Why can't I be normal? I'm not good enough for this. Oh gods.
Saphira kicked off her boots. "We better get a meal soon..." she said, with a hint of surliness in her voice, as she lay down on her bed.
Saphira turned on her side to face Ash. "Well theyd have to feed us at some point, otherwise I don't see us being any use as spies. It'd be pretty hard to concentrate, one might become obviously weak, maybe even collapse. Although, if we are spies, we could always get some experience and look around to find where they keep the food around here...."
Ash nodded and smiled, mischief written on her face, "That sounds intriguing..." When the beep sounded, she covered her ears, "What the heck is that?"
A voice, actually Dr. Moriarty's, comes over a system. "That bell signals you to proceed to the dining hall."
A map appears being projected all onto the wall.

Ash grinned at Saphira, "Well, I guess you were right." She then turned to the map and concentrated on it for a moment. Her photographic memory wasn't the greatest, but it excelled the average person's.
Saphira looked at the map, and determined the turn pattern, memorizing it in seconds. She smiled, "I was, which helps me think that the spy thing isn't a lie."
"Well then what are we waiting for? Let's go, for heavens sake!
Kyle followed, realising with a jolt that this would be the first time he had eaten since yesterday.
Julia walked out of the room and oriented herself pointing to the dining hall. "That's it, right?"
"I wonder what kind of food we'll get." Flynn wondered aloud. "We're spies, so we'll need to be really healthy. I wonder if there's different types of spies." he was almost babbling out of excitement.
Kyle stared at Flynn with disgust. "You think this is fun, don't you? That we're spies and all that. This isn't a game. And I get the feeling that we won't all make it out of here alive. So why don't you take your litle fantasy dream world about how great being a spy will be and shove it up your ass?" Kyle snorted then turned away and stalked towards the dining hall.
(I take it you are going to make a topic for the dining hall, right Charlie?)

I prefer to accept reality and make the best out of it. Flynn though, but said nothing. Being a spy would obviously be dangerous and crazy, but why should you dwell on that? It wouldn't do any good. He wasn't stupid, though. He knew it wouldn't be easy. Well, that depended. They'd hardly been told anything yet.
Ash rolled her eyes at Kyle's back. Though he was probably right about some things, he didn't have to try to crush Flynn like that. She patted his shoulder and smiled, "I hope we get something spicy. If there were different types of spies, what kind would you want to be?"
Kyle turned and stared at Ash. "I wouldn't want to be a spy in the first place. I meant what I said. This is worse than a nightmare. I wanted to be a doctor, or at the very least a lawyer! I don't want to be a spy. It'ss all so weird and alien. I don't like it."
Ash's temper flared, her eyes filled with anger. "No one expected this, but at least some of us are trying to make the best of things. For me this is better than anything I could have dreamed- I didn't want to be a doctor or a lawyer. I couldn't believe my luck when I found out we were spies. Get over yourself and accept what you are!" she shouted as her hands curled into fists.
"So?" Saphira shrugged. "Last I checked, you couldn't be on your guard and alert to what's going on around you if you're busy trying to win an argument."
Kyle snorted and turned away. "I'm not the one who started shouting. I stand by what I said before. They can think whatever they like about that. I don't give a fig."
(Charlie, we need a dining room topic. Now.)
