Okay, it would be easier just to give my thoughts about each charater when it came to the Marcie and Patch thing.
Patch: What the actual fuck is wrong with you? Marcie? Hon you about to get AIRBORN herpies that chick is nasty. You tell Nora a human body is nothing without her yet you DATE that skank. You make my brain numb, get your shit together.

Yeah I liked the book but Patch was a douche, and Marcie... there is no words. I have found plasticbieber, her name is Marcie Millar.

P.S. I still love Patch, I just feel like he needs to reevaluate his actions.

Well when I saw that Patch was with Mercie is was: WTF!! I meen: 1. Mercie is a bitch.
2. Patch was Mercie angel so that's why he was with her but I still don't understand him.

It explains a little more about their "relationship" in the next book... I think we aren't exactly supposed to base Patch and Marcie's relationship off of other couples in real life, since one or the other usually cheats (and sorry, but it's usually the guy). Based off that I don't think Patch actually slept with her. It explains better in the next book. This is supposed to be more "YA".

Okay, so Patch becomes Marcie's guardian, and the way he keeps it a secret from her is being her boyfriend. That way, it isn't odd to spend so much time with her.

This is the only book I really like Nora. She steals a Jeep and does all of these other ridiculous thing that make her finally look less frail. And Sydney, it's still not okay to kiss someone after telling someone else they were your only reason for life. It's a bit contradictory.

And how long did the kiss last? Less than a minute? Tops must be 2 minutes. We will never know why Patch kissed Marcie back, but he probably wanted a distraction from Nora.

Being with someone to forget someone else is unfair. He is just using Marcie and as much as I dislike her, I felt bad for her. She thought Patch liked her.

So? She uses men all the time! And I'm sure she knows Patch loved Nora or was at some level of liking her. It's called Karma.

The idea that it's okay because she did it first is so juvenile. If Marcie stole money from Nora (if she needed it) you're saying Nora would still be a saint if she stole some from her? Likely.

Were not talking about money though. Even though I know it wasn't right to use Marcie, it is Karma. I get your example, but I don't think that Nora would steal right back, but something would happen to Marcie. Thats Karma. And we still don't know the real reason Patch and Marcie kissed. Maybe he just wanted to see if there was a spark, and after there wasn't he never kissed her again.

The money thing was just an analogy. As in it doesn't make it any more right because they did it too. How do you know they didn't kiss again. Maybe it was just the only memory written. There could be thousands we don't know about.

No kidding. Patch and Marcie wouldn't kiss again. Have you read Silence? If you have you know Marcie and Nora become... friends. Not complet BFF's but have gone from enemys to acquaintances.

I'm going to put my two cents in: I think Patch only kissed Marcie back to get her to trust him, because in Silence *Spoiler* he admits the archangels wanted him to spy on Hank via Marcie (Basically). He probably needed to get close to her. I DO NOT however agree that I feel completely bad for Marcie. Yes, her dad's an ass, but in Cresendo and Hush, Hush she's a bitch. Maybe I'll like her in Finale, but now I still want her to fall off that bridge I mentioned.

Nope, nope. It wasn't Marcie who just TRIED to make out with Patch-- Patch and Marcie did kiss/make out. Marcie did it, well, for Patch, and Patch for whatever reasons he had, but Patch was just as much a part of it as Marcie was.

That's NEVER an OK reason! Just because they're "broken up" doesn't mean they are actually broken up. Anything Patch had to with Marcie that wasn't strictly for getting her trust for the Archangels, or what it was, if it is not that, it was Patch betraying Nora by kissing Marcie. The longer it was just shows how-- little by little-- we start to hate Patch because of what he did. Patch and Marcie together made my stomach turn. It doesn't have anything to do with it being OK because of free will. It has to do with Patch and Nora and Nora and Patch and no one else.

Of course its not okay, or fair. But what in life is fair? Maybe Marcie and Patch only kissed because Patch didn't want her to hate him. Besides, he is her knew guardian.

Yes, I'm aware. But that doesn't make it okay, and you were arguing that it was because Patch had his own free will. And I still think there could have been other ways for Patch to have Marcie trust him or like him again. So, a two minute kiss for that purpose isn't exactly necessary, in my opinion.
