Great task Barbara!I have mostly half-naked people on the covers of my books, LOL. But I managed to find a few on my tbr shelf that should work-

Would this book work for Option 3?I know the dog is a stray in the beginning.
But, I'm assuming the girl gets to keep it?
I've never read the book or saw the movie.
Because of Winn-Dixie
Thanks
The example in Opt 2 The Art of Racing in the Rain was a wonderful book. I wasn't too sure about it before I read it but I loved it.

"Thanks Fran. All of those titles would work.

There's a dog on the cover so it works for option 1 and it would work for option 3 since the dog is the main plot.

Sorry but that won't work as the pet is an owl. option 3 specifically states it must be a dog or a cat. There are a couple of links in post #2 that might be helpful.
If I hadn't JUST read this for the last challenge... Options 1:

. They both have outlines of cats. The main character's cat also plays a key role in the plot, so it should work for option 3 as well. (Plus, it's a GREAT book!! I highly recommend it!!)Also:
(there's a Great Dane middle window)/

Are these books OK, Barbara? For option 2: The Iron Daughter - one of the main characters is Grimalkin, talking cat.
For option 3: The Search by Nora Roberts
Barbara,Would Kafka on the Shore work for option 2? Cats talk - I think the main cat is called Mimi.

*sighs*. I will go with
Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World then. But I feel that I must state that owls are much cuter ;).
Thanks, Barbara :).

Option 1: Is it ok that there are other animals as well?"
Yes that's fine because it also has a dog on it.
Hi Kristi,Would this work for option 1 or 3? The dog is very central to the plot and the catalyst for all the action in the book. Thanks!
Jayme VA wrote: "Hi Kristi,Would this work for option 1 or 3? The dog is very central to the plot and the catalyst for all the action in the book. Thanks!
"Yes Jayme this would work for Option 1 since there is a dog (basically) on the cover and it would also work for Option 3 since the dog is basically a main character.

I've always been an animal lover and have had pets as far back as I can remember. Dogs when I lived with my parents and cats (and fish, to entertain the cats) since moving out. I can't imagine life without my critters. Unfortunately pets don't live as long as we do and I've lost my share over the years. September 9th is National Pet Memorial Day so while you're thinking about your lost pet, choose one of the following options and read one book to bring a smile back to your face.
Required: Please state the option you chose and any other required elements when you post.
Option 1: Dogs and cats are such loving and beautiful animals. Read a book with a cat or dog on the cover. Required: Include the cover when you post.
Option 2: Didn't you ever wish that your pet could talk? Read a book where an anthropomorphic cat or dog is the main character. For example, where a cat or dog talks or generally acts human, like in Into the Wild, Dog on It, or The Art of Racing in the Rain. Required: Explain the connection if it isn't clear in the GR description.
Option 3: To a good number of people, pets are vitally important to our happiness. Read a book where the main character has a pet (cat or dog only) that is integral to the story. Required: Explain the connection if it isn't clear in the GR description.
