Jac and Ash entered the park.

Ash walked around for a bit with Jac...

"What's in the bag?" she tried again.

Ash let go of her hand and sat down on a bench. It was now 10, late. He patted next to him, the air clouding in front of his face when he breathed. The temperature had dropped a good 30some degrees

She sat down. "You cold?"

Ash laguehd. "You cold?" he mimicked musingly. "Hah." they were close. "No." really close. Her breath would have fogged his glasses if they turned. Or if he was wearing glasses

She laughed. "Be quiet."

Ash gave her a smile. "You?" he asked. Few people wouldn't be cold. For petes sake he wasn't even wearing a shirt. That of course revealed his all muscle bod, you know all the hot guy jazz thaat I do't wanna type right now.

((*eyeroll* How cold does it get down there?))

Jac shook her head. "Im wearing a jacket."

Ash laughed. Jackets.

"What?" she asked defiantly.

"What's in the bag." she asked again, poking his stomach.

Ash pulled the bag out. It was steaming "alright, alright." he opened it and.....

CINNAMON ROLL GLOB THINGIES!!

Ash ate one with a smile

She laughed. "Shoulda known."

Ash popped anther one in his mouth. He held one up to her lips, smiling.

"Do I have too?" she asked weakly.

The cinnamon was dusting her mouth. "Come on" Ash said. "Pleeeeeeease? Just a bite? Like not a teeny one but at least half of it but even half is small because this ones like the smallest one in the bag and its a special recipie and it tastes like magic and mmmmpleeass"

Her eyes were laughing as she took a bite. "Happy?" she asked once she finished.

It tasted like heaven rolled up into a little ball. Irresistible. Ash looked back at it before looking at the bite mark. He smiled and ate the rest of it in a single small bit

She leaned back and closed her eyes. "Don't make me eat anymore, I had ice cream and that cinnamon poof thing."

Ash looked shocked. "But..." he said, trying vainly to his the distinct hurt in his voice. he looked down, slowly eating one more. There were like three left. He crumpled up the bag and put it in his pocket.

She looked at him. "I-I'm sorry. But my stomachs sick. I didn't know-...." she seemed lost.

Ash shrugged, not lifting up his head. "It's fine." he mumbled, standing up and looking around slowly. He started off, hands in pockets

Jac considered running after him and even stood up, but her feet stayed. She stood watching him leave.

Ash had expected her to follow. Oh well. She was probably expecting him to make her eat something else he had made- he thought, furrowing his eyebrows at te thought and walking faster. He veered away from the path back home ad disappeared in some alleyways.

Jac finnaly ran after him. "A-ash..." she spoke gently.

He was gone.

Tears welled up and threatened to overflow. "Ash!" she shouted, the yell echoing throught the city.

Ash was far away, in a dark alley. He was about to call back, he had actually opened his mouth

The logical location to look would have been HQ.

"Ash!" she called again.

he was probably back in HQ, in his room. Sulking, maybe talking to Fred. Something. Being poked by Devon. Dealing with stuff.

She sat down on the sidewalk. "Ash...." she whispered.

'Ash' was suddenly there, chewing on a toothpick. He looked urgent. "Jacqueline? Ah yes, must be you." he examined her face. He laid a hand on her shoulder.

She swatted the hand away, before realizing who it was. "Oh..... sorry."

He took out the toothpick and flicked it. It landed in a trashcan squarely. He helped her up with a strong hand.
