Well Divergent is a dystopia so it's set in the future. Also I've learned that it is based on the train setting in Chicago. (Pretty cool huh?) :) also if

Jen(or what's her name) xD can make mind control serums and there are people who can resist mind control, then I suppose anything can happen. ;)
