Hi, Andrea! Thanks for the invite. Nice group you have here. I'm doing NaNo for the first time this year. Have set a weekly rather than daily goal (some days are better than others) of 15k. I can usually get out 4k on a good day so we will see. I look forward to seeing what others have made their goals. Thanks for the thread!!

I'm doing Nano, and I like Jo's approach. Some days I can't get much writing in at all. I think I'll do 15K a week, too. Might quit at 50,000, though, and start fleshing it out.

If you track your changes, you'll be able to count those words, too :) LOL

I love the idea of a weekly goal!

I set up a spreadsheet with my daily goals. I start the first four days with a goal of 2500 each day. The goal decreases occasionally, with a higher daily goal on weekends. By the end of the month, my goal is 500 per day. I was trying to protect myself from burnout. Start strong; end weak. :P
