Can I just say right now that I love every single character (as in letter, space and punctuation) contained in this book!!!! And the actual characters themselves lol.

I love it too.

I want to read this book soooooooooo bad! But, unfortunately, obviously everyone else does too, because it's still on hold at the library.

I waited a few months. Was NOT cool. Worth the wait though once I fit my hands on both books, luckily at the same time. :)

I hate this book!
it was awful, it made no sense. I was not able to get into it. Tris' actions were awful. The author was not able to show me Tris's thought patterns at all so basically to me Tris kept jumping around and i did not understand one thing that she did.

Tris' thoughts seemed pretty clear to me.

I function VERY similarly to Tris. It was sorta like reading about myself. Scary lol :)

Well this bit is going to be a spoiler for anyone who has not read this book.

I did not understand how tris decided to bcome Dauntless when she finds out she is Divergent. Also Tobias is a moron.

She wanted to become Dautless because she was longing for some excitment. Abnigations have very boring lives, and Tris just couldn't put up with it. Not for all her life.

yea but Veronica never made tris do or say anything along those lines. it was kinda sudden and therefore did not make any sense.

I liked it, but I agree with you on one point: not,a Tobias fan.

Of course it was sudden. If we had know what she was going to choose, there wouldn't have been that will-she-choose-this-will-she-choose-that suspense. We understood it LATER.

But I get what you mean now - it didn't really give us any reasons until later, so it WAS kinda why-did-she-do-that?

Okay, so I picked up Felicity: An American Girl Movie today....guess who plays Felicity? SHAILENE WOODLEY! So I HAVE seen her act. Felicity was her very first movie, and she did great. Now I'm even more excited!

It's based off the books for the American Girl Doll, Felicity. It's Boston Tea Party time frame basically, divisions between loyalists and patriots, her family's indentured servant runs off to join the patriot army, she finds an abused horse, and such. Felicity's 10 (in the story anyways, I suspect Shailene was like 13 or 14 when they file the movie), and it's a different era ad everything, so the acting isn't like WOW, but she's quite good given what the movie's about. And I'm sure with all the experience she's gotten, and having grown up, she should do quite well.

Maybe... Not for Tris of course but it would be so cool to be in that movie since the books are so totally epic.
