Spreading the Happiness discussion

Now, I would like to start out by saying that this topic is not by any means limited to haikus. It can be other poetry. I only chose haikus because they've been on my mind and the alliteration works.

Ice Cream!

(this is only one stanza of an unfinished poem. The other stanzas are less happy. In fact, one of them contains the line, "with no thought of happiness")

Your smile cannot shine brightly enough
As your friend raises her hand
About to wave
With no chance of ill-will

Valentines Day

For tonight I'll forget my gripes
about love and unrealized dreams of my life
and watch sappy, cheesy, happy movies
that always end with husband and wife
