The growing fields, located beside the Eastern side of Timber Town, where all the vegtibales and fruits are grown. This is where the Growers work. Ignore the backround, a large cement wall stands their instead.

Scott gazed out at the fields of crop as he lead Renee towards the shade of the trees in the outskirt of the field. His eyes lingered on the gaint fall, a saddened feeling making his features take on an almost pouty look before his exprestion changed to cover up his thoughts. He stopped near the trees, leaning against one, sighing at the cool shade.
Renee sat underneath the trees, and softly placed Amoretta on some moss so that the little kitten could sleep more comfortably. Suddenly a thought struck her. "Have you ever wondered what's beyond that wall?" she asked Scott quietly. She herself had always imagined either a beautiful, crystal clear lake, or maybe an endless field of flowers... She herself had never seen such things, but her mother had often described to her the scences of fairytales that had been passed down through their family for generations, and she believed it looked something like that.
Scott sighed softly. "I know what's outside the wall. My sister and I used to live in the outside world. I remember it better then she does though I'm younger...There's villages unlike this one, and meodows, streams, lakes and rivers. There's thousands of trees and hills, and many creatures."
Renee stared at him, trying to imagine it all. "It sounds... Lovely," she said, her voice filled with awe. The expression she had on her face was very similar to that of a child. It was sweet and innocent, curious about the world, and only seeing the best in it.
Scott smirked a bit. "It's a lot better then this place. But it's hard to remember to much." Even if he had an exlent memory he couldn't remember his parents even.
"Oh..." Renee said quietly, staring up at the azure sky, and watching the clouds float by. "I wish... I wish I could see that one day," she said softly, the longing in her voice obvious. She knew it was selfish of her, but Renee just couldn't help it... After all, it just sounded so wonderful.
Scott closed his eyes, tucking his arms underneath of his head after shifting to lay down on the short grass. "We all wish we could go see it." He muttered.
"Yeah... I'm sure we'd all worry a little less if we just had a little beauty more in our lives," Renee remarked, remembering something her mother had once told her... It was about how no matter what, Celeste would always be happy, because in the end, she would have a beautiful little girl. Of course Renee always believed her mother had only called her beautful because mothers were required to. Nonethless, the words stayed with her though.

"Beauty or not, this place is hell." Scott murmered under his breathe, sliding his eyes half-way open so he could look at how the breeze was rustling the tree's leaves together, and the bright sun beating down on the fields. He started to nibble on his lower lip, being pulled into his own thoughts.
Renee turned so that she could see his face, and began to study him. She watched his expression, and wondered what he was thinking about. She watched him nibble on his lower lip, and noticed how her heart fluttered slightly when she did so. While she watched him, however, Renee started to stare, without even realizing it.
Scott blinked all the sudden, looking a bit startled. "Um, hi?" he said, meeting her gaze and raising one eyebrow, "I didn't think I was that inturesting, but okay."
Renee blushed slightly and looked away. She hadn't realized she had been staring. "S-sorry," she apologized quietly, embarassed at her rude behaivor. In fact, she had no idea why she was acting this way, but she wished she could stop, and be her normal self... The one that kept everyone distant through kind words and selfless actions...
He chuckled softly seeing the fiant blush on her cheeks. "It's alright, a little akward but no harm done." Scott said, amused about her behaver. He turned his gaze away again, resuming watching the sky.
"Do you live alone?" Renee suddenly asked him, curious. She herself lived alone now, but used to live with her mother. However after Celeste died, Renee's house got downsized, and now it was sort of lonely. She wondered if he lived with the sister he had mentioned earlier, or simply lived alone.
Scott shook his head. "Nah. I live with my sister and her friend." He said, frowning a bit. He didn't like David, and thought it was a bit akward how Mia had just let him, almost a stranger, come live with them. She had said it was for bill purposes but he figured she might have had a little crush.
"Oh, that sounds like fun," Renee sighed. Compared to the way she lived, Scott seemed to have lots of friends. Renee, however, managed to go on being nice to people, without a single one. However, she couldn't say that was something that she had ever regreted... Until now...

"That's not the words I would have used...." Scott murmered, giving a shake of his head, "I would say it's more like a disaster area." Mia was a grump. David was a smart ass, sometimes he wondered if he was the only nice one in the world.
"I bet you'd miss them is they left though... Either one of them," Renee told hiim. "'Because sometimes you don't realize what you have till it's gone,'" she added, quoting her mother as she watched the clouds fly by them in the beautiful azure sky.

"I wouldn't want to loose my sister no matter what, but you don't live with David. He's a pain." Scott said, "Litterally!"
"I'm sure there's more to him than that," Renee said simply, still staring up at the sky. The longer she did so, the more shapes the clouds seemed to form... Dragons, ballerinas, bunnies, not that she really knew what they were... The only way she had learned about these things would be from her mother's much exagerated stories.

((Grr, stupid notifications))Scott just shrugged, it didn't seem like there was a lot of know about David. He wasn't around much, he hated Scott for some reason and he always seemed lazy about his shar eof housework. "So, what about you? Anyone asides the little furball?" he asked.
"No... I used to live with my mom, but she's dead now..." Renee told him quietly. She was no longer watching the clouds, but rather starung at the tree leaves that were blowing in the wind. Then she glaced over little Amoretta for a moment before moving her gaze onto Scott. However this time she wasn't staring.(Maybe try keeping the topics you need open and refreshing them every once in a while?)
Scott was quiet, pressing his lips together. "I'm sorry..." He muttered at last, slowly sitting up, but kind of leaned back on his hands that was pressed into the ground behind himself. Her gaze moved across her features, from her beautfiul yet somewhat sad eyes, down to her soft silky lips. He bit his lower lip, adverting his gaze away, it's like he could really help himself. He was a guy and she was a girl....and she was just so pretty.
(Sorry! I fell asleep! Again...)Renee remained silent. To be quite honest, she actually felt more sorry the kidnapped Starlights, since they never git to know theit parents. "It's alright, at least I knew her," Renee finally spoke after a few seconds. Sure, perhaps it was more painful to lose a parent that you knew than to not remember yours. However, Renee wouldn't want to loose the memeories she has of her mother no matter what.
Scott shrugged a bit, he had given up on feeling sorry hje hadn't known his parents much a long while ago. For all he knew they could still be alive, and he always clung on to that piece of hope that one day he might see them again. Though he didn't want to be a rebel, if they got far enough he might as well be with them.
Christa's stomach growled loudly while she walked toward the check in center near the strawberry fields. The sweet smell of the strawberries hung in the air and her stomach growled even louder. Christa had purposely missed breakfast, the same with waking up. She knew that if Lewis -the main Fielder of this field- knew she was hungry, then he would let her eat some strawberries. He most likely would let her anyway, she was a Torch after all. Christa stopped walking the guilty was to much for her to handle. She hated walking the Starlight's starve, hated watch them work all day for little to nothing, but most of all, she hated her dad for contributing to their pain. He was one of the top Nappers and also one of the most meanest. Christa wiped her eyes when tears started to form and headed towards the check in center.
Renee looked back up at the clouds, reamining silent, because she wasn't sure what she could possibly say anymore. After all, small talk really wasn't her thing. As she watched the clouds float by REnee suddenly found herself questioning a decision she had made a few weeks back. It was her decision to join the rebels. Generally Renee wasn't a rebellious person, nor did she want any sort of fighting to break out. However, she knew that if she joined the rebels then she could do a better job at keeping them alive... After all, she had joined strictly as a Treater. Nothing more.
Scott tilted his head slightly to the right, narrowing his eyes in the distance, examining the small figure in one of the fields. he couldn't tell which group it came from though, but his muscles tensed slightly at the thought of it being one of the Torches. He set his jaw, sitting up straighter.
Renee sat up when she heard the twig snap. However it wasn't in a worried way, but more of that she was simply curious of who had made the sound. After all, currently, Renee believed that her day couldn't possibly get any worse. Therefore, the idea that a TOrch might see her and Scott just relaxing and get angry, didn't quite occur to her. Nonetheless, Renee did relax a bit when she saw a Starlight that she vaguely recognized.
Christa sat there and munched on a strawberry while thinking about her mother. She had been the kindest person Christa had ever known. She always helped out with the starlight's most in need and always did the chores around the house instead of having the slaves do it. My dad used to be kind to, not as kind as my mom. It was after her death that he become the monster she new today. Christa could feel her hand shaking and decided to stuff unwanted memories away and get on with the day. After eating a large hand full of strawberries and stuffing a few in her pocket Christa waved to Lewis as she stepped outside and headed towards hear watch place. She had only got about 2 yards away when she head Lewis calling to hear. "Hey! Christa you forgot your whip again!" He yelled. Christa jogged back (slowly) and grabbed the whip from Lewis. "thanks." She mumbled and grabbed the whip. Lewis was one of the nicer Torches and was about 30 years-or-so-old. He never really told her and she never bothered to ask. The whip felt like it weighed a hundred pounds in her hands and she desperately wanted to leave it. Sometimes she was able to get away with leaving it in the Check in center if Lewis didn't notice, but most the time she had to bring it with her. Lewis gave her a knowing look then and she realized that Lewis probably overlooked the whip when she did leave it. "Christa, I know it hard but you can't leave it hear anymore. If one of the Mayor came by for a a check up and saw it... I-." Lewis paused and then gave Christa another knowing look.
Scott let out a sigh, criss-crossing his legs and slumping a bit. He scanned the skies for a few brief moments, using the sun to estimate the time. He was having a day off from work, something that was rare and he was planning on ejoying it no matter what events tried to reck it. "I'm not going to make you late for work or anything, am I?" He asked, turning slightly to look at Renee.
She new that if the Mayor found out that one of the Field workers wasn't equipped that Lewis would be held responsible. The punishment would be nothing like a starlight's but he would get demoted. And that was very frowned upon by the other torches. Christ just nodded
Serah stayed in a crouched position for a moment. Please don't let them be torches she silently prayed before peeking out her head to see who she had bothered.
The first person she saw was a boy, then a girl who was tilting her head. They didn't look like Torches.
She was grateful that she had remembered to wear the makeshift hood on her cloak to cover her hair.
Renee shook her head. "I have a morning and a night shift today, so right now is really sort of like a break," she informed him. Honestly she should be spending it sleeping, because she wouldn't be able to do so until tomorrow afternoon. However she found this a lot more enjoyable.

Scott nodded a bit. He had better hours then most people it seemed, only having late evening and before noon shifts. Lifting his gaze from the girl sitting beside me, he blinked at the figure who seemed a bit closer, or maybe he hadn't paid much attention in the first place. He leaned forward, cocking his head to the right and took in her ragged clothes. Starlight.
Christa was circling the field when she saw one of the Starlight's crouched in the field but not moving forward like the rest. "Great..." She sighed to herself. Was this Starlight trying to get caught? She hoped no other Torches were near by, she didn't want the Starlight to get into any trouble.
About the same time Scott did, Renee noticed teh other Starlight. It was obvious that the girl was one because of her attire, and even simply the way she stood. Nevertheless, upon seeing the girl Renee couldn't help but feel a little self conscious about her bruise. Usually she considered herself just pretty, despite how beautiful she really was. However now she felt sort of awkward...
"Renee." Scott murmered, a bit of a warning in his tone as he moved up to his feet, and leaned his side against one of the trees they were resting under. He pursed his lips, his attention moving from the starlight collecting to the Torch, Chista standing near. Had she seen Serah? Scott wasn't usaully violent, but he felt strongly about loyalty to other stars.
