Let's see.... for this group, my goal is to read one book set in each province and territories of Canada.I want to finish the 2012 Around the World in 52 books challenge.
Plus there are other monthly challenges and group reads for another group that I want to work on.
That should keep me busy!
Hm, what a great question...I haven't put much thought into this. Where do I hope to be at this time next year? I'm going to ponder this for a bit, Melissa, I'll get back you! :)
I would like to read books from each province and territory in Canada for this group. I would like to continue reading books around the world including some big books, Anna Karenina and The Poisonwood Bible, which have been recommended by several friends. There are other challenges that I enjoy too.
I'd like to read a fiction and nonfiction work from each area and maybe study each providence and territory a bit.

I used to do an official challenge to read monstrous books like that, but really I am only just getting back into reading. I'm aiming for one book per month as my minimum read, and hoping to stretch it to two per month so I can fit all 13 provinces/territories in for 2013 LOL and a bit of other reading, too. Considering I still consider myself "recovering" from my 2 year dry spell, working reading in is still a bit of a challenge.

Anna Karenina (other topics)The Poisonwood Bible (other topics)

Personally, I'd like to read more books by foreign authors and set in different countries. That's about the only one I've come up with so far.
