It's small, that's for sure! The houses in the background are where the Brewers go to cook their food. Nice, aren't they? To bad it dosen't look so nice inside, inside there is a bunch of ragged tables, only two rooms per biulding-the serving room and the kitchen.

Nairne skirted around the fountain in the Center. Her long red hair was loosely plaited down her back. She was hoping to be able to buy or trade for a bite to eat before going to her work.
Scott cupped a hand over his mouth, hiding his yawn as he made his way into the small town center. His eyes were half-way drooped closed, worn out by a long night's work. He dropped his hand after a moment, hugging his coat tighter around his body.
Nairne saw a Treater she recognized from work. She noticed his yawn and instantly sympathized. She was exhausted, too. Everyone was. She gave a small wave and walked in his direction, pulling her worn and threadbare coat closer to her body for warmth.
Emleon padded into the center of town, feeling exhausted but not willing to admit it. She was feeling a little depressed because the only person she had been friends with was hung for stealing from the fields where they had worked.
"Nairne?" Scott asked once he had caught a glimpse of the girl walking towards him, he stopped to allow her to catch up. He smiled a bit at her, shoving his hands in his coat pockets. "Hey, haven't seen you down at the bar for a while. Hopfully that means less people are getting injured..." He mutttered the last part under his breathe.
Nairne smiled back though the action lessened some when she heard the last part of his sentence. "Actually, one was good enough to go home today," she said in an attempt to be chipper. "So they let me off for an hour" As one of the best Treaters, she was there almost day and night. She had permanent purple rings under her eyes. Then she remembered. She had a surprise for him. She pulled an entire chicken leg from inside a small bag she'd been carrying. She grinned.
Scott arched an eyebrow at her. "How long have you been carrying that around?" he asked with a soft chuckle, motioning with a nod of his head for her to follow him on his way towards the Brewer stands. "Just an hour?" He questioned with a sigh, "Sometimes I wish we could all just fall over and hybernate 'till spring." He was mostly joking.
Nairne laughed. "Just an hour, yeah. You want some of it or not?" She walked after him. "And I know what you mean. Hibernation sounds like heaven." She fiddled with a new tear in her shirt. She'd have to mend it again when she got home with what little thread she had.
Emleon leaned against a Brewer stand, her eyes half closed as she caught a small catnap. Her stomach growled loudly, making her remember that she hadn't eaten in...who knows how long.
"To many long shifts in the fall, I like winter better, when the Torches..." Scott paused, glancing around to make her their conversation wouldn't be overheard before he lowered his voice, "Are to wimpy to come out in the snow so we can go to bed early again."
She laughed softly. "Sometimes I think they believe the snow will swallow them whole if they even step out their doors." Nairne handed him half the meat on the chicken bone.
(( actually, could they become friends? right now she is all alone and stuff cause her only friend got hung.))
((^^ YAY!))
Emleon lifted her head and looked around, trying to figure out if she had anything she could trade for some food.

"I wish it would swallow them whole." Scott replied, smirking playfully at her. He stopped walking suddenly, catching sight of a small figure in the corner of the Brewing biulding they had just walked into, "Hold on, I want to go see if she's lost...or one of the new ones..." He muttered, walking over to see Emleon.
Scott stopped a few yards from the little girl, leaning up against one of the walls. He hated seeing the new ones, the childrne who were fresh to be taken away from their families. He counted himself one of the few lucky ones who actaully was brought here with a pierce of his family, even if his sister was stuborn.
Nairne walked slowly towards the little girl, holding the chicken in her hands. "You hungry?" she asked softly. It was hardly a question at all. Here, everyone was hungry.
Isabelle walked around as she twirled her hair between her fingers feeling really nervous all of a sudden. She thought maybe because there were so many people. But she wanted to meet them but rather felt nervous. Humming to herself and dug her hands into the pockets of her skirt. She didn't know why she felt so nervous but she did and simply smiled to them and bit her lip looking down as she continued to walk around and couldn't anymore and took a seat by the fountain looking down at it.

Mia dodged past a few passing people, the area had become a bit crowded and she wanted to find her brother by now, who could be in any of the four brewing houses. She sighed, sitting down by the fountain, waiting for the people to hurry up and leave.
Kazuko sat down at the fountain, bored. She frowned, wishing that she could learn something new today.
Mia folded her arms around herself, keeping her thin coat clinging to her body. Looking up she saw a few people avoiding the fountain. She glanced over her shoulder, and grit her teeth when she saw the Mask child, of course it had to be a Mask, her clothes were nicer.
Kazuko saw Mia, and nodded. She moved towards her. I wish that I was a Starlight...then not as many peopple would hate me, she thought.
Mia narrowed her eyes in warning, biting down on her tounge as not to snap at the annoying little Mask.
Kazuko glanced at her, then backed away. I hate it. I hate being who I am, she thought bitterly, frowning.
"What are you doing so far away from Southern Timber?" Mia asked, with a bit of a sour tone, of course most the children didn't come to far out from the safty of their homes.
Mia let out a snort, rolling her eyes in annoyance. "What freedom?" She spat back, glaring in return, "Unless you haven't noticed, we all live in a hell hole, unlike you."
"I hate being locked up in a house. And I've got no family," Kazuko snapped. For some reason though, she liked this girl.
"And you think any of us have much of one? Unless you don't know we were all taken from our family so we could be your servents!" Mia growled.
"It's not my fault that you are all servants. It would be better than just walking around. At least there's something to do. I actually want to be a Starlight and a rebel!" Kazuko replied back, crossing her arms.
Mia rose up to her feet, annoyed and flurerated beyond belief. "We are hung, beaten, stolen, poor, straving, tierd and you are throwing a pity party all because your bored." She said.
"I hate it. I hate how everyone hates me." Kazuko turned away. "Everyone's so terrible, even though they don't think that. It makes me sick."
"Your kind makes everyone sick." Mia grumbled under her breathe as she walked away, she didn't want to hear this girl's freakin' pity party when she had work to go to.
Kazuko really felt like murdering everyone. She did have a dagger in her pocket, but she would be killed herself if someone found her out. I hate being here, she thought. I just want to help, but no one cares because I'm a stupid Mask.
Mia hurried her way from the town center, leaving behind the girl who claimed to feel sorry for them. Like she cared. She didn't want Torch pity, she wanted them to suffer the way the Stars were.
