In the tall grasses, grows a plant in which has these fist-sized sharp object known as Shards. This is what you will be harvesting, each day you will each gather a large basket full. The Miners are the most often taken to the Treaters, because they recieve such bad wounds from the sharp spears. Also-It's surrounded by a large cement wall.

Lune moved to the Shards and started to gather some. She ignored the pain as some pierced her skin. It didn't hurt as much now, but there was a small jolt.
David looked up from where he was crouched, collecting the sharp shards. Attention didn't seem drawn to him, he had made sure he was in a bit of a crowd. Seeing as no Torches were looking he slipped on of the shards into his coat pocket, ignoring the throbbing pain in his muscles. He went on with his work as though he had never stolen.
Lune slipped a look at Lune. She remembered him from the rebel meetings. She pocket a few shards in her own pocket, shoving it in deep, then put more in the basket she had. I hate this, she thought inwardly, feeling like she could kill someone.
David paused when he heard a low horn being blown, it was nearly noon, the sun was hot and sweat clung to his skin despite the freezing wind. It was time for lunch and people hurried to get away.
Lune caught a few more shards in her hand, and pocketed them. She picked up her basket and followed David, wanting to get rid of the sun.
David set his baskets down in the shade of the biulding where the Torches would stash them. He turned and looked at Lune, eyeing her carfully. "Hey kid." he said.
Lune looked at him, and nodded, dropping her basket next to his. "Hi." She leaned forward. "Rebel," she whispered." She opened her pocket, showing him the shards.
One side of David's lips edged up a bit in a croocked smile. "Nice job there youngin'." he muttered under his breathe, his eyes moving up to see if there was anyone around to listen to them, but most were to set on leaving or collecting to pay close attention.
Lune nodded. "When's the next meeting?" she asked, pulling back, realizing that she had been a bit too close. She pulled out some bread and started to eat it.
"Not here, walk and talk so we don't...stand out." David muttered, grabbing her arm and leading her in the direction the others had been heading.
"Tonight, when the moon is highest." David responded quietly, leading her between a few of the trees at the edge of the field. He glanced around one last time before scooping several shards out of his pocket, and hiding them in a hole in one of the forked trees.
Lune nodded. "Good. About time." She crossed her arms, taking a handful of shards out and uncovering a hole. She had dug it out herself, and kept her hidden shards there. In the night, she would take it back to her home for the rebellion.
David smirked a bit. "We could sure use someone whose that sly of hand." He commented, leaning back against one of the trees.
"Come on kid." David motioned with a nod for her to follow him while he began to walk in the direction of the housings, "I have some food at my place that you can have, you look beat down."
"Hmm, well since you are a Star, guess you could hang around with me and the siblings." David responded.
"How many of what? Oh, siblings. None actaully. I just live with the Thomas siblings, but we're not related. It's a sister and brother pair, Scott and Mia." David explained.
