I just have two questions: Why is Daret on stilts in a lake/swamp, and why does Angela speak in the third-person? *cries because they ruined Angela*
When I saw it I was like "where are they? That isn't the right town." Solembum is a very big mistake on there part! How could leave out a sentient cat that plays a central role! And I actually kind of like how she talk in third person, reminds me of Yoda, ya! Although, they would have done without the blindness, they were just trying to play up her mysteriousness.
I really loved Saphira's eyes in the movie, but I didn't like her color; she was almost grey instead of vibrant blue. Maybe I'm just picky, though.
Alexis wrote: "That is adorable, and I want one!It took her five seconds of that to grow from the above, to the below:
And this:
You can't even tell that she's blue, in this shot; and one sec, let ..."
Your right, they are completely diferent!
Ya, her growth thing in the movie was a really lazy way for them to get to the meat of the story.
Well, this one's adorable! I loved her when she was... well, I'd say 'fledgling,' but she was still supposed to be one by the time the movie ended, so I'll just say small.
I didn't even get halfway through the trailer before I gave it up in disgust. It looked terrible.
The movie? Barzul, no. I would like to keep the picture I had imagined in my head for as long as possible.
She was beautiful, but still didn't match the beauty of my brain image.
Really, what did you imagine? (though your description written would still not compare to what we imagine)
Scales that shimmered sort of like opals except a deep azure blue, long spines all the way up her back, a more pointed snout than in the movie, with deep blue eyes that almost matched the color of the scales but not quite. Majestic. Beautiful.
That's a really bad description. I can't.
That's a really bad description. I can't.
I know what you mean... hard to accurately write down something so wonderful from your head. Thanks for trying though.
I rented it from blockbuster and I wasn't even maybe 30 minutes in and my mom had to tell me to stop yelling. I don't understand why directors can't get anything right. They couldn't even get Zarroc right!!! Like really!! How hard is it to get a sword wrong?! The blade was red (like it's supposed to be) but the gem at the end was blue. Blue!!!!!!! If u look at Saphiras wings they're feathers. She's more bird than dragon. And the gëdwey ignasia!!!! It was an e for Eragon on all of there hands!! It's an oval in their palm!!! When I was at the booksigning I heard the director had his own imagination of what the movie should be like. I'm sorry for comeing across rude or anything but what the heck?! He had his OWN imagination?! No no no!!! If ur gonna make a movie from a book u better do it right unless u want some seriously ticked off nerds. I'm gonna stop now cause I could go on for days. Sorry if I came across rude about the director.

Let's just say that it didn't do the series justice. Can we all agree?
Anyway, lets talk about why though?
