Beyond Jack Vance discussion

Hi Folks!

I finally got around to reading Jack Vance! Through a free ebook offer from his website, I downloaded The Chasch. I liked it a lot and then proceeded to buy and read the rest of the Tschai series.

I am trying to decide what I want to read next. Initially I was heading for the Dying Earth stories, noteable Mazirian the Magician but have seen on this publisher's website that they plan on creating omnibusses for all his series. So, I am trying to decide If I should wait or not.

There are lots of non-series work I see to choose from as well. Anyone reading Vance at the moment?

Lucky for you, there is already an omnibus for the Dying earth series. http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/40... I personally enjoyed the Cugel books most, and would start with them.

I've seen that omnibus and it looks cool. Unfortunately I am looking for it in ebook format :(

Are you reading the Dying Earth books solo? Even if you read the books in ebook, you can read in the correct serious order. Dying Earth collection+ Cugel books+Rhialto the Marvelous.

There is ebook Jack Vance site you can buy them in that format.

Yep. I think I am doing them in order correctly. I am buying them from the http://www.jackvance.com/ site as well and am following the order they recommend.
