Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments Werecats are awesome!!!!

message 2: by Cole (new)

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments I need to know more about them!

message 3: by Cole (new)

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments Something! But I hear he is going to be branching out from this world, so if he does it won't be for some time.

message 4: by Cole (new)

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments He sure is, but I am sure that his next series will be interesting.

message 5: by Cole (new)

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments How long do you think he will take?

message 6: by Cole (new)

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments Ya, we are about the same age, so same goes here.

message 7: by Isabella (new)

Isabella | 154 comments So, who wants a werecat friend/guide/advisor? I know I do!

message 8: by Cole (new)

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments I do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do so bad, but my cat won't talk to me. I think I am mind-blind! Oh, no!!!!!

message 9: by Isabella (new)

Isabella | 154 comments Hahaha! Well, my cat won't talk to me, either, so if you're mind-blind, so am I! Terrible, isn't it?

message 10: by Cole (new)

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments Yes, my dogs won't either.
Do you secretly do that when no one is around, talk to your pets hoping they will say something I do.
Bailey why won't you speak to me! Haha!

message 11: by Isabella (new)

Isabella | 154 comments Yeah, I talk to my cat, too--the difference is that she's way too smart. Sometimes I wonder if she isn't actually a werecat...

message 12: by Cole (new)

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments It would. At least my dog howls. I talk to my dog all the time though. I want to make her a service dog so I can take her anywhere!

message 13: by Isabella (new)

Isabella | 154 comments Haha, cool! Does that work?

message 14: by Cole (new)

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments What work?

message 15: by Isabella (new)

Isabella | 154 comments Talking to your dog. I admit I'm clueless when it comes to training animals.

message 16: by Cole (new)

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments Blind insanity? I guess I am insane when it comes to Bailey. I am way protective and I give her way too much love. :)
I have most every dog I have ever had. My family and friends know me as the animal whisperer.
And no it doesn't work she is pretty quiet, doesn't bark or howl often at all. Sometimes though I think I can see in her eyes understanding.
So lets talk about cats. How are they similar to Solembum?

message 17: by Isabella (new)

Isabella | 154 comments Well, Lex's cat isn't as much a cat as a creampuff, but mine is haughty, refuses to do anything she doesn't want to, and ignores anyone who's offended her. She also knows she's the most beautiful creature in existence (don't tell her this, she is beautiful, but I think Saphira might have her beaten there).

message 18: by Cole (new)

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments Hahaha! Okay, I won't. ;)

Animal people get a plus 10 points!!!!!

That is the exact description of a cat! Scary...

message 21: by Isabella (new)

Isabella | 154 comments Haha, yes! Animal lovers are always good! Why do heroes never have dogs, though? Why is it always cats? I think the Assassin's Apprentice is the only book I've read with a dog instead of a cat.

message 22: by Isabella (new)

Isabella | 154 comments Because all the cats took naps when the humans offered the position?

message 23: by Cole (new)

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments Cassandra wrote: "Haha, yes! Animal lovers are always good! Why do heroes never have dogs, though? Why is it always cats? I think the Assassin's Apprentice is the only book I've read with a dog instead of a cat."

There are lot of cat side kicks. I can think of a famous dog one in Hounded though.

That they are. :)

OMG! That was funny! Laughing for like three minutes!

*grins* It would be just like a cat, though, wouldn't it?

YES!!!!

message 28: by Cole (new)

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments Well she is right!!! *winks*

message 29: by Cole (new)

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments No, I didn't know that. What is it that makes you like them?

message 30: by Cole (new)

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments Cool, I am dog person myself as you might of guessed. But I love cats too and all those you said are so true!
For me though, I don't like how they are so aloof though. I want to interact with them more.

message 31: by Cole (new)

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments Wow, your cats actually sound more interesting than mine the way you describe them!

message 32: by Isabella (new)

Isabella | 154 comments Hahaha! Pretty interesting? Una would be very, very offended! And you'll break Rem's heart saying that, Lex; he spends plenty of time wandering aimlessly, following you, and staring out windows/at lightbulbs, too! Don't sell the poor babies short.

As wonderful our cats are, though, I definitely agree that dogs are amazing as well. I've always loved golden retrievers the best--a few years ago I actually wrote a short story for school about a kid growing up with one--but mostly I'm just a fan of dogs in general.

What type of dog is Bailey, Cole, if you don't mind my asking?

Bailey is my companion. She is like my Saphira.
Anyway, She is a half golden retriever/ half siberian husky. With one blue eye and one brown. All white fur with a little red tint underneath. A curly tail and floppy ears.
She is really smart (too smart for her own good), stubborn, kind tempered, and really loyal (my whole family is jealous because she only listens to me and follows me everywhere, hahaha, they tell me she waits for me at the door whenever I am not home).
Everyone says I baby her and that I love her so much that I care for her more than I do people (might be true) ;).
Here is a picture of here and ginger together on the floor:

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments Speaking of pets I was watching Hocus Pocus with my little brother and well... Do any of you remember Zachary Binx?

Oh, Bailey is so so pretty! Thank you so much for showing her to us, Cole! I could stare at her all day...

It makes me rediculously happy to hear that you love her that much--and that she loves you back! If you care about her more than other people, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that! Nothing and no one could ever replace Elektra for me, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Animals deserve just as much love as humans... sometimes even more, if you know what I mean.

I don't think I know that show, either, sorry...?

message 37: by Cole (new)

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments It is a old Disney movie. He is a human turned cat by some witches. I still like the movie after all these years.
They were strict about that stuff, huh? I know what you are talking about, I have friends that have the same kind of parents.
My parents took the opposite approach, instead of sheltering me they kind of thrust into the world, sink or swim kind of thing. We are very open about everything, even tabboo things.

message 38: by Cole (new)

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments Thank you! *bark* (bailey saying hello and thank you)
I am happy you like her! :) It gives a warm feeling inside.
Ya, Bailey likes cats. Not that all the cats like her. Hahaha!
Eleckra sounds like a great cat! Do you have pictures you can show?

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments Nice! :)
They are cute.

I can't have long haired cats though, so I am kind of jealous!

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments I know right. It is so akward to look at.

message 43: by [deleted user] (new)

The werecats are cool.
Well, other than his cryptic riddles and biting retorts, we don't see much of Solembum's personality, so I can't really pass judgement on that.
But werecats in general are awesome.

message 44: by Cole (new)

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments I would have to agree with that!
