Second Chance Challenges discussion

This group has taken off so much faster than I ever imagined it would. We only went "live" on August 15 so in 2 months time we have grown from 21 members to over 250! That completely blows me away!

The down side (if you can really call it that), is that I'm having a hard time keeping up. My "real" life is starting to get in the way of my GR life and I am finding it more and more difficult to organize and keep up with everything.

With that in mind, I have decided that it is time to ask for HELP! I'm looking for 1 or 2 people to be co-mods with me.

Responsibilities would include (but are not limited to):
●Welcoming new members
●Answering questions
●Working with me to organize and post challenges monthly
●Moderating specific challenges and updating participants lists as necessary
●Other duties as necessary
●Must be familiar with the Goodreads site, familiar with popular abbreviations used in groups, knowledge of basic html use in posts
●Must have a public profile so members can contact you if necessary
●Must be able to check in daily (minimum - more is even better!)

If you are interested, please send me a PM and tell me why you think you would be a good fit as a group mod. I will be accepting "applications" until Friday, October 19 and will make a decision over that weekend.

I would love to have been able to help but I think my 'real' life would interfere even more than yours does. I don't even have time to update my challenges.
I hope you find just the right person to share the load with, what a great predicament to be in.

Same here. If I were retired, I could probably devote the time needed, but between work, family & volunteering, I wouldn't have enough time to do it justice. Sorry & I'm sure you'll be able to find some help. This is a terrific group.
