Friends with Books discussion

So for November I was thinking of doing a family theme or a completely random theme like music genre books. What do you suggest?

I also was thinking of doing a Spell it out based on the theme picked.

Also what about reading vintage books? I read an old book by E.L. Konigsburg and absolutely loved it.

Older books could be a good idea. Lately I've been wanting to read books by Dhan Gopal Mukerji, Eric P. Kelly, Armstrong Sperry or Marguerite Henry, among others. All of them are Newbery Medalists, and all won their Medals in the 1940s or earlier.

I couldn't figure out a way to make that into a challenge. Now is when I'm thinking I could have done it based on authors... so that's why it's the spies, lies, and thieves theme.
