Right. Once more I open this thread because interest has been shown in its favor. The same rules and prizes of the afore done contests apply to this one:
"Prizes: The satisfaction of winning, and the great honor of being co-mod for a month.

Rules: There is no genre restriction; write what you're good at.

For the sake of judging and time, please keep the entries limited to short-stories, or tales with few chapters. (This does not mean that your story can only be one or two pages. Be creative, but be mindful.)

And above all, be sporty about it and have a grand time!"

And in case you're wondering, yes, anybody can comment on any entry. The winner will be decided by a voting poll at the end of the contest.

You can still enter if you are a co-mod. But no mod can vote on theirs or a fellow mod's story, to make it fair on the non-mods. ;) If a mod wins, the runner-up gets to be co-mod. That is decided by vote. But, in the meantime...

It seems you jump a bit too quick from aspect to aspect. Why not put some hostility, some suspicion, in there? You know, make a bit of friction instead of them meeting and instant friendship... :)

Okay well here is my entry... I wrote this a while back for my creative writing class in college and I just picked it back up because I was debating with myself about whether I should continue the story from here with his mother and the man or leave it as it is... Choices, choices...
