What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I remember reading this book that I really liked, it was about this wife who was in a coma from a car accident, and she was a nurse I believe. I remember there was two children I believe daughters, and the husband had like a year to decide whether to pull the plug or keep her on life support

Kind of sounds like The Descendants, only the wife was in a boating accident not auto, but she's in a coma on life support and there are two teenage daughters. It was made into a movie starring George Clooney.
