I will not lose another person I love. I will not let history repeat itself.
Vincent waited lifetimes to find me, but in an instant our future together was shattered. He was betrayed by Violette, someone we both called a friend, and I lost him. Now Violette is determined to rule over France’s immortals, and she’s willing to wage a war to get what she wants.
It shouldn’t be possible, none of it should be, but this is my reality. I know Vincent is somewhere out there, I know he’s not completely gone, and I will do anything to save him.
After what we’ve already fought to achieve, a life without Vincent is unimaginable. He once swore to avoid dying—to go against his nature and forsake sacrificing himself for others—so that we could be together. How can I not risk everything to bring my love back to me?

"I looked out over the rippling water and imagined Vincent materializing before me. The soft black of his hair. The sapphire flash of his dark eyes. His tall, solid frame. Vincent's phantom hung suspended over the waves for a moment, glimmering transparently in the moonlight, before dissolving back into my mind's eye."

i so agree with everything and i heard somewere that they think kate was the champion all along. i realy dont want jules and kate together. the books are about the love story of kate and vincent not kate and jules

Agreed.

Yea since the first time Kate risked her life to save Vincent I've been wondering if she turns into a revenant when she dies.

And even if he is, I will forever be in denial. Also, I will cry through all of the next book.

But has anyone noticed a shadow in the corner of the cover of If I Should Die????
I swear...MAYBE IT'S VINCENT!!!!!!!

I suspect that Kate is "the champion," not Vincent, which means she has to become a revenent first. Maybe she will die saving Vincent from his body-less existence and become a revenent.

The first part of chapter 1 in at the end of the Novella on Amazon. It answers this question!

OMG! If Jules gives up his body - according to your theory - than I will own him my life. Cause in Die for Her he actually likes her the same way Vincent does.
