By now I'm sure you've guessed that I have cousins everywhere in the South.
I remember one trip in the early to mid-1970s to the Ozark mountains. We were planning to see if we had time to visit Dogpatch USA. We didn't, I don't think (I don't recall being there, anyway).
Apparently, Dogpatch closed in the 1990s (as late as that!).

I've been to the Ozarks since, as an adult. They are quite beautiful.
