Siân (bethmarch) | 3 comments L.M. Montgomery - Anne of Green Gables has been my favourite book since I was eight!

Louisa Alcott - Little Women has been my second favourite book for almost as long!

Jane Austen - her books make me think of a bygone era, I love it

Eva Ibbotson - I LOVE her books about secret countesses and princesses; it's because of her that I want to visit Vienna

The Brontë sisters are fantastic

Thomas Hardy? I've only read Tess of the D'Urbervilles but I felt I needed a male author on this list, and that was a great book

message 14: by Giulia (new)

Giulia Eva Ibbosten! Her books are adorably cute! I read all those in that series. My favourite was the Secret Countess and The Morning Gift.
