She looked at him, shaking her head slightly as she smiled. Guards came rolling around the corner. That was when something in her heart burned, she grabbed her chest, suddenly breathing hard as small pain blurted out. She let it go, trying to ignore it as her eyes turned blood red again. Her teeth sharpened, pupils turning to slits. She smirked, looking at the guards and jumping into the sea of guns and beards.

Dom took a split-second to watch his companion hurt, then dive into the full of the fight. He waved his arm in a wide sweep, elexctricuting any people that touched it. A mass of people nine back of his magical wavve collapsed. Their weapons dissapearedd.

She looked at him, smirking slightly as she let out a small animal-like growl. They circled around her, soon tackling. In mere seconds all she had to do was stand up. A small aura of energy erupted from her body, sending the guards flying off to hit the small piles of ice and the mine doors. She laughed madly, her eyes shaking violently as she grabbed her head. why do you deserve my power runt. she heard his voice I gave you this gift for pure evil, use it right. within seconds she was curled in a ball, pain catching fire to her body. Not litteral fire. She gasped, her eyes fading to the dull black. She let out noises of pain and suffering as she quivered. The blood inside her seeming to turn into a solid, horrible pain as her veins broke from the build up. A inferno lighting her body on fire.

Dom saw her and raised his glowing palm. A loud earthquake noise sounded and the gaurds collapsed simutaneusly, eyes rolling back. He ran up to her staggeringly, looking very minutely exhausted. "Jasper?" he asked, confusion in his slightly quavering voice. He repeated her name, now with concern

Jasper was breathing hard, her hands clenched "get outa... My head." she said in a strained tone.I'm not in your head. he said, she looked up, seeing him standing there. we made a deal, in return for your life. You would be my minion. Keep to your deal! she wanted to scream as he suddenly walked up, his hand passing through her chest and wrapped his hands around her heart. Get me the golden titanium, build me the missle, then I will spare you. she did scream this time. He wasn't really there, but her heart was beating frantically. Enough for an old man to have a minor heart attack. Loki wasn't there, he was only chanting in her head.

Dom was kneeling next to her, his bloody and grimy pale hand on her upper arm. It was freezing cold, as usual. He wondered what was happening but sensed Loki's mind and was alarmed. The god was a formidable force. He gave a start as she screamed. He could feel her fast pulse of her upper arm with his iceblock hand and thought about her mind. "Jasper." he repeated for a third time. He was almost beginning to be worried.

Her eyes were clenched shut, she shook her head repeatidly. Her fingers tightening around the snow so much that it started melting in streams.

Dom felt her forehead, checking for a fever. He quickly took it away when he remembered that she was usually warmer than humans. "Jasper, what's wrong?" he hoped she would speak. The snow was really starting to pick up. Actually, it was more or less white everywhere, except an outline of the mine entrance and a few trucks and a couple other buildings.

"Golden titanium." she said, her voice somewhat normal. When she opened her eyes they were black as night, her pupils were white, but slits. She stood up, looking at the door as her veins seemed to throb and pop out in her neck. She walked up and pressed her hands on the metal, grabbing the door and taking a step back. It melted like tinfoil in her hands as she threw it behind her and on the piles of knocked out guards. She sluggishly walked in, falling and having to catch herself on the walls.

Dom put a steadying hand on her arm, having followed her in. "Are you OK? Did one of the gaurds do something?" He tried very hard not to read her mind. She was obviously not OK, but whateever. He realized mildly her eyes and her veins werre strange. He wondered if she needed one of those transfusion-things.

She put her forearm on the wall, letting out a small breath as a small black shadow left her body and zoomed off instantly. She opened her eyes, fading back to the normal charcoal grey, pupils returning to round as her veins fused back into her neck. She looked at Dom, "where did the guards go?" she asked, taking a step forward and falling on her fac.

Dom tossed his head back carelessly and laughed. He looked back, his pointed teeth sharper and maybe elongated for some reason. "I took care of them." his voice was emotionless, though you could easily imagine in amusement. He smiled, tasting blood from the gaurds in his mouth. He swallowed and saw her fall. He dove back and helped her to a sitting position. "What happened to yoi?"

She smiled weakly, her face slightly paled as she showed off her own set of pearly white knives. "it happens, like when hulk gets angry." she said, "but Loki controls me. I can't do anything about it when my mind shuts off." she said, trying to stand up. She leaned against the wall, "I need the metal."

Dom nodded. Her teeth were a lot whiter than his at the moment, he noted. Even if his had blood shining on them. "Ah." He assumed it was unpleasant. He nodded. "It shouldn't be far."

She looked at him, opening her mouth to ask something. The whole outburst of strength had drained her, she blushed and shook her head. She looked away, taking a step down the hall before her leg gave out. She caught herself, leaning against the wall and looking at the ground.

Dom raised an eyebrow. She seemed to want to say something, then gave a series of mixed reactions. He rought the urge to smirk, or smile, at the blush. She sure was staggering a lot. He hoped she didn't fall down a mine hole. Not that it'd matter, he could bring her out asap.

She looked at him, "this is pretty embarrassing. I can't walk. Can I-uh... Hop on your back?" she asked, her cheeks flushing a dark grey. Her unique blush making her look inhuman as well as her cherry red hair.

Dom nodded a 'yes' and stepped in front of her, his face still pale but playing at a smile. He braced himself for her to jump on.

Jasper blushed and cursed under her breath. She put his hands on his shoulders, "You sure I won't be too much?" she asked, looking at him with a tired smile.

Dom set his shoulders, grinning now. "Yeah. You'll be no trouble." he smiled apologetically at her. "And it's not going to help anyone much if you break your neck falling on the way to the mine."

She smiled, hiding the small disappointment in herself as she jumped onto his back. Trying her best to lock her legs, most likely she just kicked him in the crotch.

Dom made a small grunt as her heel hit him you-know-where. He turned his head with a smile once she was more or less settled. "You good?"

She laughed, her chest seeming to jolt on his back as she nodded. "sorry about your manhood." she said, smirking as she looked into the tunnel ahead.

Dom smirked in response to her smirk. "I can live with it." he said with an obviously fake smile that she couldn't see. He started walking, his feet making no noise. He made sure not to jump or trip or bump around. Actually, it was like he was flying. Almost. He didn't want to hit her head on anything

She could literally smell his slight worry for her, "you know what." she said, resting her head on her shoulder. "I'm kinda glad I came here.. With ya." she said, smiling to herself as the small blush appeared on her cheeks.

Dom continued on for a few steps. It took a few seconds for him to register what she'd said. He looked at the wooden door in front of them as he felt the pale complexion of his cheeks flush slightly. He snapped his head back and flickered a smile at her, glad for the poor lighting. "Thank you? I'm glad I came with you too, I guess. You're not a bad fighter, for a more or less human."

"I'm not human." she said, looking at him and raising an eyebrow as she jumped off. "I'm like cap. It's a little impossible to be categorized like that." she said, smirking as she looked at the wooden door. She gently pressed her ear to it, blurring out all of her senses into the feel of hearing. She heard almost fifty silent breaths that still made a small whistle from smoking. She heard the shaky hands, fingers ready to pull on the trigger. fifty she silently mouthed. Taking a gun out of her boot as she looked at the lock on the door. Instantly flexing her now-clawed fingers. She stuck one in, the small click of the lock as it fell to the floor. The doors jolting for a second.

Dom smiled. He liked her confidence. "I could tell that." he muttered, not really audible to regular human ears. He watched quietly as she unlocked the door. He smirked when she was done. "I could've just blown it up." he said, stepping beside her and pushing the tall heavy door open with his fingertip. He smiled at her before backpedaling into the misty room hidden behind the vaulted doors.

Jasper turned to look at him, smiling slightly. "oh my hero." she said, her arms crossed as she kicked the doors opened. They all instantly cowered, seeing the 5'6" girl standing at the doorway they instantly started lauhghing. In seconds they were silent when she started growling. In another second they had the triggers pushed far as they could go. Before the bullets left the barrel she was in the mists of them. Turning and using the muffler that was hand-made to push a small ball of metal into their throats while using every inch of her body to keep them silent.

Dom's near-insane laughter could be heard from various angles, but he wasn't seen anywhere. He was off on his own, twirling around with his arms green scythes. He looked like a ballet-cyborg magical thingy. His obsidian just-barely-too-long wavy hair was waving around as he stabbed and hacked with a smile on his face. This was all too easy. He realized they had mowed down about 75% of them and reverted to his fists, feet, and head. Oh, and teeth, which were as ever ivory but now almost saber-toothed.

Jasper was rolling over the dead bodies, shooting the others with her silent gun as she saw the tiny metal door. She didn't bother to look at Dom as she suddenly froze, feeling something crawl up her body and choke her secretly. Her pupils dilated a coupe of times before turning to slits. She put her hand on the door, grabbing her head again. "get him out Dom." she whispered, sinking to her knees. "get him out."

Dom slid his fist out of someones head, letting him drop to the floor. he ran over to Jasper. "Jasper?" he asked, kicking the thing off her. He picked it up with a strange expression and wondered what to do with it for a split second. He then waved his arm and opened up a black swirling portal and made sure the object of her fearful attention was gone. He closed the hole immediately and ran over to her, looking down with a raised eyebrow. All of the gaurda has suddenly dissapeared

(it wasn't an object. It was Loki controlling her.)

She shook her head, the taunting and stressed scream mocking her over and over again. you love him. In the end he will betray you. Get your head out of the clouds minion, get the job done.

She let out a breath, looking up and pulling the Handel off the door. It swung open instantly. She let out a breath as she looked around, seeing the small block of gold. Her eyes widened, the moment she reached her hands out to touch it the voices shut off instantly. The whispers in the back of her head. She looked at the small piece of metal. Then seeing the thousands more glittering in the ceiling above them. "amazing huh?"

Dom nodded slowly. He tapped some of the gold with a breifly small smile. "I suppose. Are you sure you're okay?" he realized his arm was on her shoulder and quickly withdrew his hand, plowing it through his soft hair that sort of looked like goose-down at the moment. "What'r you going to do with it?" he asked curiously, walking off and twisting a hunk off the wall, leaving a little chink. It was a mine, after all. He yawned and dusted it off on his shirt, then tucked it in his pocket. He was zoned out, off in his own little shell-hole mind that he never let himself out of.

She looked around her, "find the cure." she said, turning to him and breaking off a few pieces. "this is the perfect substitute." she said, smiling and looking at him. "I'm not going to die!" she said, consuming him in a suddenly there hug.
