In answer to your second query, older couple the first one that springs to my mind is my favourite book by author Robin Schone.
Francis is a grandmother in Victorian times. she is widowed and her children moved away. Only in her late forty's she feels she has time to find herself and moves to London where she meets a lawyer her own age. For me a very moving and realistic well written story. It is an adult read and rather hot in places, but the story is the main part.
Kristen Ashley has a few. For You, Golden Trail, CreedMostly due to the "Big Misunderstanding".
Also, Hold On to Me, Tallchief, Not Another Bad Date, Slow Hands, Return To Me
The Virgin River Series by Robyn Carr is full of these type of scenarios. There are heaps of books and are probably best read in order... basically Virgin River is a town where ex-marines have settled after their tours of duty have finished and how they find the loves of their lives. It's pure romantic escapism, medium heat level but there's misunderstandings, second chance love, teen love, couples that break up and re-unite and each story builds on the whole character of the town and its people. Book one is
Sunny, thanks for your rec. I'm going to look that one up.

I have a lot of this author in my stack of books to, I'll have to check them out. Do they have to be read in a certain order to stay with the story?

I like the people like LK who have those mega-organized shelves all nicely sorted with all kinds of ways to find a book you're looking for... I'd like shelves like that too, lol, so good job Lisa Kay, you sure you don't want to do mine, and Melissa's? Could eventually help pay for those dang renovations, you get enough people, lol ;DJust kidding of course :)

Hello!I know it's a little late and I'm not sure if this is what you really want, but a few years ago I read
This is what Goodreads says about the book:
"Amy Reynolds is stunned when her first, great love suddenly reappears. A happily married mother of two, she wants nothing to do with him. But then-needing to know why he was ripped from her life without explanation-Amy becomes obsessed with the idea that maybe they really were meant to be together..."

Dhes pointed me in the right directions. There is a glitch when you try to add to certain threads, or go to the last page of them when them haven't been used in a while. Specifically for us, "Introductions."
It has been reported to the GoodReads Feedback Group that has a thread started on the topic .
I'm fond of this theme & it's without a doubt one of the the favorite theme of Judith McNaught too.

All the books which Valie mentioned - my favorite among them would be Paradise.
is another beautiful book which fits in this category.
Neat list, Joeera. I don't know if I'd say
is a 'childhood sweethearts' or not. Maybe, if you made it singular 'childhood sweetheart.' Semantics, right? LOL!
