Michael Wombat (wombat37) Hello good Goodreads readers,

I'm a Yorkshireman living in Lancashire. Do with that what you will. I'm not sure I can fit myself into a genre - my first book has talking animals, but also beheadings and disembowellings. My second, currently in first draft, is sort of a crime-thriller-homage to old films thing. I do like to write with an underlying humour though, if only to keep myself amused.

That first book, the one with the talking animals -

Yes yes, I know, but you should have seen some of the titles I rejected. I love talking with readers, which I'm doing rather successfully on my FB author page and Twitter. We don't have to talk about my book(s) though - please bend my ear about anything.

TTFN

Michael Wombat (wombat37) Thanks. I do have a sequel in mind which has an exruciatingly punning title, but that will have to wait until the thriller is finished.

message 7: by Michael (new)

Michael Wombat (wombat37) No squirrels, cos they are EVIL. It does have a badger though. Briefly. And a beheading.

if i get them both, i can make a nice set of earrings out of their tails too...

Michael Wombat (wombat37) Shrunken squirrel heads strung together make a delightful Christmas decoration.

message 13: by Kath (new)

Kath | 1233 comments see, i used to think they were evil, now i am seeing a financial opportunity!

message 14: by Michael (new)

Michael Wombat (wombat37) Don't forget the outlay on silver spray paint. Mind you, the tails can be used for party favours, so swings and roundabouts.
