I've went to a Gordon Korman thing several years back where I got a signed copy of Swindle. I almost saw Margaret Peterson Haddix but didn't.

I have met zero authors. Or famous people in general. If I got to meet any author in the world it would be Suzanne Collins, Veronica Roth, or Margaret Peterson Haddix.

Who are your favorite current authors? I would have to agree, if I met Suzanne Collins or Veronica Roth, I think I would stop breathing.

But I have met Mary Downing Haun and Alane Fergasun at a book signing and they were all awesome!!! And Roland Smith, the guy who wrote I.Q. Thank goodness for Children's Literature Fest!

And Vivian Vanda Vilde.... She writes All Hallows Eve, Witch Dreams, and something else...

Also, I've been to an annual children's literature breakfast twice because my mom and stepdad are illustrators and I have seen quite a few authors speak, but I haven't really talked with them.

I've met no one famous, or authors, unless you count me, my dad, and my teacher, whom are authors, well the latter two are, I want to be. The only other famous people I have met are my uncle and my cousin who sing with Sweet Deliverence(Acapella group). My dad is friends with doug tanaple (he made cat scratch the show and does comic books)... I think thats it.

I've met Richard Scrimger, he wrote From Charlie's Point of View and I've met Michael Wade who wrote the And Then it Happened series.

I once came across Stephen King in ABQ. When I went to get something for his autograph he ran off!! He wasn't as tall as I thought. Be prepared if you run across a celebrity!

I've never actually ... met any authors. Not published authors, anyway. I have, however, conversed with Donita K Paul [Author of DragonSpell) and (quite a bit) with Jill Marshall [Author of the Jane Blonde series] over the phone or by email. And I'll probably be meeting Michael Morpurgo sometime.

I know my parents got me a ticket for chirstmas a few years ago when I was in hospital for a year funny enough the day after I went to the book signing I was let out of the hospital and have not been back. I find it lucky.

Yes I got really sick and they didn't know what was wrong with me it is a lifetime condition so I was in and out of hospital for a year they thought I would die at one point but I came through and I am good now.
