Giulia Never Let Me Go by Florence + The Machine

Tentatively, Ava walked onto the pebbly beach. The stones were rounded and smooth under her feet but still were uncomfortable to walk upon. Gleaming stars overhead and endless ocean below, she made her way to the dark water.
The moon, only a wisp of its usual self, was reflected onto the languid water, rippling occasionally but otherwise, the night was calm and peaceful. Her white nightgown was thin and did not protect her from the cool air and soft winds as they rushed through the beach, animating her hair and tugging at her dress as if they were the wildwood sprites, calling for her to join them on this night.
Instead, she continued to move to the water, and once she was close enough, she dipped her foot to find the water was freezing cold. Still, she persevered and let the waves lap gently over her feet. Then, she continued to move in.
The icy water clung onto the hem of her white dress and yet she continued to wade in, a faraway look in her eyes as she gazed at the horizon. The water level rose and rose, causing the gown to stick onto her pale legs. Her previously stormy thoughts were washed away at the sight of this eternity. Her troubles seemed to useless, so insignificant in this great plan that was the Universe. The stars would be there until the end of time, humans will always appreciate the calm, endless ocean and this thought calmed her. They would always be here for anyone who was willing to look out.
The water was at waist level when she stopped. She then closed her eyes, took in a wishful breath and fell backwards.
Sliding smoothly into the water, she almost gasped as it sent shivers up and down her limbs, prickling at her neck and tingling along her back. Her eyes were shut tight as she fell deeper and deeper, the light no longer visible through her eyelids.
Endless peace and silence was what the ocean gave her when she went under. This feeling of eternity coursed through her veins as she felt like one component in this ocean where time had made it but mattered nothing.
When she could not stand it anymore, she broke the surface, gulping in air. Her hair was slick against her scalp and neck, her eyes stinging from the seawater but she felt freed. She felt like she was part of this infinity and she realised the ocean had effectively washed away her worries.

((Sorry, it doesn't do justice to the song.))
