Here we can debate about which book was over all better and wether suzanne Collins did steal battle royale's idea... Keep in mind we will be comparing only the first book of the hunger games(:

i havent ever read Battle Royale so...i dont know :P but what i do know, is that Suzanne Collins got the idea for The Hunger Games from the Greek myth "Theseus and the Minotaur".
it makes sense tho...

I've never actually read Battle Royal so i can't back up the claim with experience but I've heard Hunger Games is a big rip off of it

i have watched the movie for Battle of royale it seemed more bloody then hunger games. But cant compare the books because i have not read battle of royale I have only read the hunger games
