For twenty-one-year-old Sydney, being in love with Kyler isn't anything new. They'd been best friends ever since he pushed her down on the playground and she made him eat a mud pie. Somewhere over the years, she fell for him and fell hard. The big problem with that? Kyler puts the 'man' in man-whore. He's never stayed with a girl longer than a few nights, and with it being their last year in college, Syd doesn't want to risk their friendship by declaring her love.

Kyler has always put Syd on a pedestal that was too high for him to reach. To him, she's perfect and she's everything. But the feelings he has for her, he's always hidden away or focused on any other female. After all, Kyler will always be the poor boy from the wrong side of tracks, and Syd will always be the one girl he can never have.

But when they're stranded together at a posh ski resort due to a massive Nor'easter, there's nothing stopping their red-hot feelings for each other from coming to the surface. Can their friendship survive the attraction? Better yet, can they survive at all? Because as the snow falls, someone is stalking them, and this ski trip may be a life-changer in more ways than one.

Jennifer has done it! She has finished the first draft of Frigid. She is without a doubt a writing goddess. I cannot wait to read this one. I know it's a long way off but we are one step closer to getting our hands on it.

LOL! This is JLA's new adult book called Frigid. It comes out August (digital) and November (print). It sounds awesome, right? :)

YES, YES, YES! I definitely love being surprised like this. Although now, I have this crazy idea (probably wishful thinking) of JLA having a hidden safe full of books ready to be published :))))

JLA has A LOT of books coming out and she has assured me that even after Covenant and Lux series is over there will still be plenty of books =)

Wow, she must be writing all the time!! Clearly writing is her greatest passion and hobby in life :))) And how thankful I am for that :D

For y'all headed to BEA this year, I saw over the weekend that JLA will be there signing ARCs of Frigid! That's one signing I'm definitely making time for!

With all these new books of hers coming out in mid- and late-2013, I was wondering which ones she was going to have with her at BEA. Although I'd love to see copies of Sentinel there, I'll be equally glad to get a signed ARC for Frigid. It sounds awesome!

Jen has not yet wrote sentinel so there will definitely not be arcs of those there. I heard that there will also be origin arcs there. It's not certain but there might be.

Bethany be luck its already coming out early. The original release date was late November and they changed it to july

I think the title has a lot to do with the story line JLA always ties her titles in.

It's because it's set in Winter and they get snowed in. Hence it's probably frigidly cold
