Oswald ran through, knocking down some levitating candles, and rushed out the door.
Dan walked in and jumped onto a couch. "Cannonball!" he yelled, loud enough for the dormitories to hear.
Mia walked down the stairs to the fireplace. Not many people were there, only the ones who struggled with last-minute homework and practicing spells. She sat herself in front of the fireplace, the warm crackling drawing comfort to her petite figure.
Mia looked up. "Hey...yeah, I'm fine..."
Mia nodded, blushing a bit. "I understand."
Mia pulled her legs to her chest, watching the flames of the fireplace hungrily lick over the charred wood.
Mia felt a gaze upon her and looked to see Dan smile at her. Mia blushed beet red and managed a shy smile.
Mia pulled her small knees to her chest, returning her gaze to the fireplace. Her ebony hair curtained her still rosy cheeks, her teeth gnawing at her lower lip in thought.
Mia stood up and paced around the Common Room, her small feet padding against the fuzzy warm carpet. At her ambling, she noticed Dan was asleep and smiled softly. She left him to rest as she continued to pace, her small hands clasping behind her back.
After a while, he woke up and yelled, "1492!" Then he looked around. "Oh. Uh...." he bit his lower lip.
Mia squeaked adorably in alarm, her wand out already. She turned to see Dan awake and blushed.
"Sorreeeee," he said. He had been studying Muggle history and how Columbus discovered America (which he didn't!!!), and he fell asleep while studying the year.
Mia bit her lip. "I-It's o-okay," she squeaked.
Mia blushed and continued to pace, adjusting her yoga pants.
Mia had been murmuring incantations under her breath, her wand working to conjure and make things disappear. She conjured up a heart-shaped box filled with chocolates.
Mia winced, feeling some sparks fall against her.
Mia murmured silent spells under her breath, her lips moving at the speed of lightning. She managed to conjure a thick Physics textbook, a smile lighting her pretty features.
Mia felt gazes set upon her and smiled at Kia and Jace shyly, blushing.
Mia turned away to study Physics. She crossed her legs and set the book upon them, flipping the pages. She stopped to adjust her blue tank top before continuing to flip the pages, her eyes memorizing the information.
Mia was too immersed to hear their conversation, her brain whirring to come up with answers for the problems. Her ebony hair framed her still rosy cheeks, her brown eyes intent on the book in front of her. Suffice to say, she was very pretty.
After studying for a few more minutes, Mia got up tiredly and stretched, her arms raised up, a sliver of her pale skin visible between her tank top and her yoga pants.
Mia immediately stopped stretching, blushing. "H-Hello," Mia said warily.
Mia laughed musically. "Yes...."
Mia smiled. "I appreciate it. I could use a little conversation after so many hours of poring and huddling behind books." She felt at ease with Jace; she could use a friend like her.
"You're doing just fine," Mia smiled warmly.
((Huh? What happened?))
Mia smiled. "I really think so," she countered shyly.
Mia smiled. "I really think so," she countered shyly.
((Why were you screaming two posts before?))
Mia nodded, playing with a fringe of her hair.
Mia nodded, playing with a fringe of her hair.
((Cool.))
Mia blushed. "I..um..l-like to r-run."
Mia blushed. "I..um..l-like to r-run."
"Me too," Mia smiled. "I'm not very good, though."
Mia nodded. She tucked her legs to her chest, leaning her chin against her knees. She rubbed her small nose against her yoga pants, feeling the fabric.
"Like who," Mia asked innocently in her soft voice. Her brown eyes were fixed on the carpet.
Mia shook her head. "No. You've been nice to a Mudblood Ravenclaw like me, and you haven't hexed people for fun. You're kind and sweet, though you're a bit emotional. This doesn't have an effect on your supposedly cunning personality, and therefore, I convict you of a unique Slytherin. In a good way, of course."
Mia smiled shyly, meeting her eyes with hers, before looking back at the carpet.
Mia giggled musically. "I hate awkward moments..."
Mia sighed softly, turning her gaze to the fireplace. The light danced along Mia's porcelain face.
Mia nodded absentmindedly, seeing a seventh-year boy walking into the Common Room. He flashed a quick smile at her, which made her blush, and ran up the stairs to his dormitory.
Mia looked at her. "I'm sure it isn't that bad...."
Mia giggled. "Flirting? I'd like to see that. I don't find you two odd at all!"
