In Ërevon, kingdom of the avariel, tall mountains glittering with opaque white crystals cradle a lush, wild landscape of evergreens, pure water springs, and gentle hills. The sound of birdsong and rushing water is everywhere, the scent of pine and mint and sweet flowers is carried on the wind. Concealed among the woodlands lie villages where trees seem to have grown naturally into cabins and towers, and among the craggy foothills of the mountains hide the caves of beasts such as chimera and gryphons. Ërevon is a land untouched by a craftsman’s hand, untamed and free.
