I was watching the movie "Neverland" recently and was inspire to ask this question...

If you were to be transported to a planet where you would always remain the same age for eternity, what age would you want to be?

message 2: by Kit★ (new)

Kit★ (xkittyxlzt) I'd want to stay right around where I'm at now I think, though I'm also leaning toward saying put me back in my 19 year-old body and keep me there, I liked it better... But my brain's a little better now at this age. Well, maybe... lol. Ok, I'm going with 19. As long as my brain can still learn new things and such like normal, I wouldn't want to be frozen with the mentality I had at that age. Just the body :)

I think I would want to go at age 25. That was the age I was when I got married and I felt good about myself at that time. Wisdom wise I'd probably want to be about 40ish but I can get wisdom while I'm there in my 25 year old body. ☺

I think thirty. I'd have more sense and still be young enough not to have as many aches and pains and less dents and knocks associated with being almost forty.

message 5: by Laura (new)

Laura I would like to be 22 and just out of college but with the confidence I have now at 34. Maybe then I would have made a few better choices.

message 6: by Pamela (new)

Pamela 32. I was strong, healthy, attractive and at a great place in my career. Wish I had appreciated it more.

message 7: by Vanessa (new)

Vanessa | 6 comments I would to be 25 years of age again if I must choose. I felt as if I finally figured myself out at that age and developed the confidence ad strength I now have.

Well, there are no wrong answers on this one ☺

Jessica (studioeastrat) | 511 comments I would go with the age I am now, 28 or maybe 25. I feel like i am still young but I am old enough to not be a complete fool. lol

message 10: by Gwen (new)

Gwen (gwenk) | 161 comments I would go with 40. By that age I knew who I was and was secure within myself. I also had the wisdom and confidence to go with it. When I was in my 20's I think I was a work in progress. I had the youth, but not much of the other things. Now I feel I'm a more complete person. Sure wish I'd known back then what I know now to go along with that youth. I guess you can't have it all.

Goge (BARRONS) le Moning Maniac, | 288 comments Even though I always reminisce about my high school days and before them and miss them like crazy and should have completely appreciated them more.. I don't want to stay the same age forever. I want to 'grow up' 'have kids' 'meet my future partner.. as an adult''become old' Even 'die old'. I want to have a life not stay in stasis. I used to hate change but like Dani from Karen Marie Moning's Fever series said: "Change means you get to choose again. Become something new." Change is natural and good for you. Develops you. I don't want to stay undeveloped, physically and mentally.

Yes, change and growth are good.

Goge (BARRONS) le Moning Maniac, | 288 comments I was stubborn. HATED, LOATHED change. But my situation made it so. I've had to learn to accept it hence I couldn't say I want to stay one age for ever. I worked hard to get over my change loathing. And thinking about it, I would not want to stay one age forever.

message 14: by Alisa (new)

Alisa I would say 27. Old enough to have learned some lessons but still young looking/feeling.

message 15: by McGee Magoo (new)

McGee Magoo It's a cliche, but honestly, I felt GREAT at 29. I looked okay--not as smooth faced as I was when I was 19. but I was smarter, wiser, and young enough to still have fun without aches, pains and tons of hormonal issues.

message 16: by Anna D. (new)

Anna D. | 44 comments Great question!

I would say 22, my senior year in college. Young enough not to have all the grown up responsibilities I have now but old enough to be independent. At 32, I'm hoping I haven't reached the perfect age, if one exists. Though if 22 wasn't perfect, it was a hell of a good time! :)

message 17: by McGee Magoo (new)

McGee Magoo I guess if you were to be a certain age forever, you'd emotionally mature, right? So in that case, you'd want to choose an age that was your physical best. Mentally, I would not want to remain 19 or 17 or even 21 (if I only knew then what I know now...) But Looking 19 and being as wise as someone in their 40's, 50's. that would be awesome.

message 18: by C.D. (new)

C.D. | 5 comments I loved 28 for some reason. 28 was awesome.

Paganalexandria | 354 comments 25 was my magic age. I was finally emotionally mature, with an amazing metabolism still intact.

message 20: by Lisa (new)

Lisa I think 28. When I look back at around 19-21 in hindsight I was still pretty immature, despite what my 21 year old self would tell you. I'd smartened up by my late 20's. I hope anyway......lol

message 21: by Miriam (new)

Miriam (miriammathew) Between 21 and 25.

message 22: by Krystin (new)

Krystin (krystinmf) | 3 comments My age now, 27, is pretty dang awesome! I'm not complaining :)
Tho I wouldn't mind rocking 23 again!!

Elizabeth_s (_elizabeth_s) | 6 comments 28 with the knowledge I have at age 42 ;)

message 26: by Kim (new)

Kim | 134 comments 26. I was smart enough to have dumped my loser ex-fiancé, but still young (and thin).

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

I have absolutely no desire to be a teenager again that's for sure! I'll pick 29. Still young but with some maturity.
