Lyrah looked around, confused by the new setting. "What is this place?" She gasped. "It is so...shiny."
Lyrah opened her mouth to ask yet another question, but thought better of it. "Perhaps I should stop asking so many questions and just assume this is all...human technology."
"Not all of it. Alexander Graham Bell was a Vampire. Don't let anyone here that, though, because humans do not not like others." He walks out of the felafel shop, and into the streets.
Following him, Lyrah muttered something about humans that wasn't very nice. "I still don't understand any of this."
"Anything and everything!" Lyrah groaned. "Why is everything so clean? Why do things glow that don't use fire or aren't magic? Where is the forest?"She sighed.
"Everything is clean because we have people who clean up after us. Things glow because electricity makes them glow. The forest is in forest preserves."
"I do not know what electricity is, nor what a preserve is, but I know what preservation is. There is so much forest, why would they need to preserve it if it is everywhere?" Lyrah asked.
"Because people use the forest, and abuse it. Electricity is basically a very, very powerful thing that does not use magic."
Lyrah's eyes filled with tears. "The forest...people abuse it? Don't they know to honour the tree spirits by only cutting down what they need?"
He walked to a bookstore, opened the door, and gestured for her to enter. "You can read, correct?"
Maricrystal walked on the sidewalk strutting while her heels clicked on the floor. She wore a black skirt and a white blouse. In her left hand she held a purse.
Maricrystal runs to the bookstore and quickly shuts the door behind her. "What the heck was that?" She asks.
"Well, we don't know yet. We do know that if it injects your dead body will appear in front of you."
Maricrystal nodded her head and looked at him curiously,"I'm Maricrystal." she stuck her hand out to shake.
The Protector walked over, "Name: Maricrystal Entra Blacianta. Age: over average human. Species: mermaid-siren hybrid."
"Human," said the Protector. "Human, as well," said Jake. "I was a Warlock, but I have this weird disease that caused my to lose my powers."
"Oh." She switched her attention to the books on the bookshelves. "What are you doing in here anyway?"

Headmaster walked down the streets. He had one arm holding a stack of flyers. The other hand held the glue. He walked around posting up the circus flyers. Once he reached the end he gave a short nod and began his walk back to the camp. There was much to do before opening night.
