message 3: by [deleted user] (new)

message 8: by Margie (new)

Margie (claussmargie) I agree with The Harry Potter, even though they left stuff out but they didn't CHANGE anything, they just left it out. But who knows what the worst is...

message 9: by Johns (new)

Johns The worst one was Percy Jackson... Toliet no go boom! But the best one I've ever watched was the City of Ember! I don't know how they got the hugemongous wasp things but it was still kinda accurate to the book!

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

I agree, PJO they ruined! I don't know how they even continued with SoM

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

yes, and i think the mrs. weasley and the bellatrix battle was way to fast, when in the books it was more epic.

Elisabeth Wheatley | 2 comments I've actually seen movies I thought were better than the books. No, really! Alex Flinn's BEASTLY, Cornelia Funke's INKHEART, and Nancy Orr's NIM'S ISLAND. Plenty of people will disagree with me, but... *shrug*

message 26: by Ophelia ॐ (new)

Ophelia ॐ Oh yes!!! beastly was such a good movie!! Especially considering that Alex Pettyfer was Kyle!! I think the book and movie were both very good, none outshining the other.

NO NO go see it first, that way if anything is left out, you won't be missing it and reading the book will enhance your experience later

message 43: by [deleted user] (new)

Exactly my point thanks Julie

message 44: by Aidan (new)

Aidan | 28 comments But what'd they completely change something if you see the movie first when you read the book you will think "the author changed this" but if you read the book first you will know " the director changed this"

message 45: by [deleted user] (new)

Well ok

I view it as Oh I have seen the movie now Lets see how bad it was compared to the book
