Delirity discussion

I just did a marathon reading of book 1. I've been in an odd mood and taking 2-3 days to read a book and then just did this one in 2 hours. I'm very sad there's not another one ready for me to read.

I really liked that one, too, and it took me by surprise. The author's blog is kind of interesting, too.

Ooo, I'll have to bump this one up on my TBpurchased list.

It's weird. You start it and you're very unsure about if it's going to good. Then, at some point you get sucked in. By then end you're addicted, but you can't figure out why. There's something understated about it and yet you don't care. It left me very confused as to why I enjoyed it as much as I did. I had to just tell myself that I had fun with it and not dwell. =)

Yeah, I didn't even write a review, which is unusual since I always seem to have something to say about a book. :)

Well I bought it, so I"ll find out soon enough.

I tried this one because Heather liked it so much, but I just couldn't get into it. I even gave it longer than I would have because of Heather. I do think that I am in the minority in not liking or even finishing this one.

That's OK. I'm curious to see how I like it.

Im loving it. Its intresting and a bit unique (not as far as the romance but the history and world building).

Im still curious as to what makes it steampunk rather than Fantasy or Alternate History. Havent came across in steam power yet or other technologies there not supposed to have nor do I have a clear insight on the Time period.

okay so I just got to a very strange and forced part of the nov (view spoiler)[ why did the darkling just kiss her out of no where there was no build up no feelings coming together no nothing it was just like the author said oh yes a kiss all YA books need a kiss I think ill place it here and get on with the story (hide spoiler)]

anyway it threw me right out of the moment :-/

All right I did it, bought the first book. After the one I'm reading now I'll start it up.

(Shouldn't be too long since I'll be sitting in Doctor offices for the next two days. *sigh* Thank goodness for books.)

Yeah, I'm fine. It's my mother her heart problems are back, in fact there worse. We just had a test for it today that confirmed it. The doctor wants to get her in for Thrus, but we might have to stay longer and have the surgery on Friday.

I loved the first book and picked up the second for my birthday. I haven't been able to get into it as of yet. I have started it but haven't gotten through the first 10 pages. Its going a bit slow right now for some reason I was expecting the pacing to be alot faster.

Loved the first book. It doesn't really bring anything new to the playing feild, yet it's still fun.
