I'm actually quite interested at the prospect of being a master in Paleontology. The excitement of discovering clues about life before us and even revealing a new species is riveting for me.

I've been considering it as my major.

What draws you to paleontology?

message 6: by rachel (new)

rachel | 3 comments I think it's the idea of discovering something completely new to us, and yet something so ancient. Combined with my love for animals, and I get a passion for life that once existed before a time of written history. Plus, I used to live around some dinosaur fanatics, and the love for them just stuck with me. c:

Anything specific that intrigues you about the subject?

It all started with jurassic park for me I've always loved animals and the idea of ones I'll never be able to see or touch drove me wild and thats what pulls me towards it my need to discover and get closer to these mystical beings.

rachel | 3 comments Ah yes, Jurassic Park was another big thing for me as well that kinda got me invested in dinosaurs. I'd seen the movie when I was young, and just read the book a little over a year ago.

There's just something about that book that inspires people to look into paleontology.
