((Please, Imaan. Make a demigod. Please.))

Natalie walked into the Sword Arena. She was the only one there. Yes. That was exactly what she wanted. She precticed a few swipes but she knew that she was terrible. After all, she was suppose to be good with the bow, not the sword. Despite that, she always fancied Swordfighting, and everyday in the evening, after the camp-fire(She couldn't miss the sing-along!) she wouldgo for 10 minutes to sword arena. Just before bedtime. It made her sleep well. She gave a swipe, a sidestep, and one last thrust and started for the Apollo cabin where everyone was preparing for the night.

"Thank you so much" Ella said "The Athena cabin was in great need of one".
"Its okay" Daniel said "I enjoyed making it". The Clock's design were owls. Owls, everywhere, every tiny space it could fine. At the bottem, engraved were the words "ATHENA CABIN". Ella admired the clock. Even though the Athena cabin were known for doing great things like this, his work closely compared with hers.
"It's wonderful" she said and smiled, studying the boy carefully. Athena children had a gift that could be very useful: Studying people.
"I better leave know" Daniel continued. " My cabin want everybody tucked in bed by nine". Ella raised her eyebrows. Whoah. That was real early.
"Okay" she said "'Bye!" she said cheerfully. She got ready to leave but say someone at the arena. She glanced at the clock Daniel made. It read "8:45".
"Hmmmm" murmered Ella. "I'll quickly see who that is". Even though Ella was the head of the Athena cabin, she was a very curious girl and sometimes very naughty. She crept quietly to where she saw someone and saw Natalie Quinter, Head of the Apollo cabin. She liked the girl and walked in to say hi.
"Hello!" Ella said, walking into the arena. Natalie saw her and grinned, waving her sword as a hand. Ella was liking this girl more and more.
"What's up?" Ella continued. Ella saw Natatlie hesitate.
"I was goofing around with sword" she decided. Ella eyed her playfully suspicously, and Natalie laughed.
"Aren't you the famous Ella Watson from the Athena cabin" Natalie said, laughing. Ella blushed. Natalie glanced at the watch in Ella's hand.
"Ooops!" Natalie cried. She picked up her sword and said "We better leave! Its 8:55. My cabin must be waiting for me. I really am a bad Head Counseller." Ella tried to look surprised. In fact, her cabin slept at 9:30.
"Lets go" Ella decided. They walked back to their cabins, side by side.
"Goodnight!" Ella said as she entered her cabin.
Bird entered the sword arena before Ella, and impatiently waited for her by jumping up and down, each jump on one foot. She sighed, took her sword out and spun it, bored to death-well, not really. She preferred bored to dead.
((Did you get the reference to Artemis Fowl?)
((Did you get the reference to Artemis Fowl?)

Ella glanced at Bird. She looked like she needed to use the toilet, and Ella winced. Yuck.
"So, what's up?" Ella said, suddenly feeling quite bored. Bird kept on jumping up and down, and Ella found it hard to concentrated, especially as she had ADHD.
"Bird? Please, don't waste my time!" Ella cried exasparetely. She knew that was a bit rude to say but Bird didn't seem to notice.
"Bird, what's wrong?" Ella said gently, surprised by the calmness of her voice. Ella studied her. Something was coming. Bird started to speak.
"I was just wondering-" Bird began, twirling her hair on her fingers as she tried to stand still. "Ella, how are head counselors picked, why do the gods never come to camp and who are the girls staying in Cabin Eight?" she said quickly.

"Bird," Ella said "Why are you asking these questions" Ella looked at the uncomfortable girl, and then added carefully "I will tell you, but you can trust me! Tell me" she encouraged. At that moment on, Ella knew that she must nurture Bird, telling her what's wrong. Bird could be dangerous if she used her power for the worse.
"I want to know about this place. It's the first place I've belonged, the first place that's like home," Bird said.
