Immortal Storms discussion

Outside of the house:

It has 4 rooms, and it's a one floor place, with an attic. Nate and Ann share a room, guest bedroom, kitchen, and living room. The attic has one thing in it. A large safe filled with three bags. One filled with money, one filled with food that won't go to waste, and the last one filled with their belongings that are light, and easy to carry.

Nate and Ann's room:
The only other thing in the room is a desk, with a laptop sitting in it. Small room.
It also has a small bathroom attached.

Kitchen:

Living room:

Guest bedroom:

Nate and Ann walked in.

Ann ran into her room, and opened the laptop. She hacked into the security cameras for the bank, and changed it so that Ann and Nate weren't there.

Nate got some milk from the fridge, and poured it into a plastic cup. He put the jug down, and took a sip.

Nate put the milk back in the fridge, and walked into the bedroom.

Ann smiled." You know, you could have gotten me some."

Nate put the cup on the desk." I'm sorry! I didn't know you wanted any!
Don't be mad, please!" He started to fake cry.

Ann laughed, and started tickling him.

Nate started laughing, and hiccuped. He started laughing, and hiccuping uncontrollably. He moved out of reach to escape the tickling.

Ann laughed, and looked at her computer screen." What do we need?"

Nate finally stopped laughing." We need HICCUP more food HICCUP for if HICCUP we leave. HICCUP"

Ann laughed again." Okay." She closed the laptop." Come on. We'll go through the park."

Nate hiccuped, and followed his sister out of the house.

Ann locked it, and walked to the park with her brother.

Ann unlocked the door and opened it for Nate. She closed it after them, and put the food on the counter.

Nate ran to their room and open the computer.

Ann walked in and helped him hack into the stores's security system. This time, they made it so it show Ann and Nate looking at things, and only taking a candy bar out of the store.

Nate smiled, and finished off his Hershey bar.

Elizabeth walked in "You guys home?" she called out as she shrugged her jacket off and hung it up.

Ann and Nate jumped.

Nate ran out of the room, and hopped in front of his older sister." Hi!"

Ann shutdown the computer and walked into the entryway." Hey."

Elizabeth smiled "hey. I got you guys something" she pulled out an mp3 player and handed to Ann then pulled out a DS and handed it to Nate. She sat down on the couch "anything happen today?"

Ann said," No. Thanks for the MP3 player." She looked into the kitchen.
She was glad that everything was put away.

Nate grinned. He walked over to the couch and sat down next to Elizabeth. He began to play." Thank you."

"Your welcome" she shrugged "don't worry the people who owned those won't even miss them."

Ann heard and smiled. I wasn't going to worry anyway.

Nate was to focused on his game to hear.

"Did you guys already eat? I could cook something if not."

" We ate. I made sandwiches." Ann told her, sitting down in a chair.

"Alright. I have homework to do" Elizabeth sighed. She got up from the couch and went up to her room. Leaving her brother and sister to entertain themselves.

Ann made sure the door was locked, then started listening to music.

Nate yawned.

Ann took out one of her earbuds." Tired?"

Nate nodded." Can I go to bed?"

Ann smiled." Of course."

Nate shutoff his DS and Held out his arms to be picked up.

Ann walked over and picked him up, bringing him to their room. She put him in bed.

An hour later Elizabeth walked back downstairs. She sat back on the couch with her book. She got lost in the pages as she read. Her mind leaving behind all worries she had.

Ann was sitting in a chair, listening to music.

Nate was dreaming....

Nate's dream:

Nate was sleeping at first, then he woke up, a girl around 8 holding him, and running. Smoke and fire was everywhere. He coughed.
The girl said," It's okay. We are going to get out. Mom, Dad and Elizabeth are going to get out too."
Nate realized it was Ann that was running.

They were out side. Ann was facing away from the house, but Nate could see a body run out of the house. He could also hear a scream, and then only the house burning to the ground.

After the fire was out, he was being held by a firefighter. Ann was searching through the remains of the house, looking for her parents and sister, tears running down her face, her voice cracking as she called their names. A firefighter picked her up and brought her over to the truck. He whispered kind words to her.

"Is Nate sleeping? He is not going to be able to sleep tonight if he sleeps too much now."

" Ya, he's taking a nap." Ann said.

Nate wakes up. His heart pounding. He slides out of bed and walks into the living room, and climbs onto Ann's lap.

"Are you alright?" Elizabeth knew he had been having a nightmare by the look in his eyes. She was not very good at taking care of them, she was not responsible enough. She looked at the ground.

Nate nodded, but the face of the girl that brought him out of the house was still in his mind.

Ann looked at her older sister. She remember when Elizabeth found them. Elizabeth was a great sister. But Ann didn't know how to say it.

Elizabeth was not good at comforting. She bit her lip, feeling as though she should say something "do you want to talk about it?" She asked Nate.

Nate looked at Ann and asked her something.

Ann looked at her older sister. What he had dreamed about was written all over her face. The night of the fire.The night their parents died.

Elizabeth looked at her sister. Every moment she thought of that night she felt the raw pain, as thought it had just happened. She hated that they had to endure that pain as well. "It going to be okay" she nodded reassuringly.

Nate nodded.

Ann remembered that night, and it made her feel guilty.

"Come on guys, cheer up" she got up "I will go make some brownies."

Nate perked up." Ya! Can I help?" He looked at her with puppy dog eyes.

Ann smiled.

Elizabeth smiled "of course you can!" she walked into the kitchen and pulled out the ingredients and set them on the counter. She searched through the cabinets "how have we neglected to own a mixing bowl for this long?"

Nate looked." Found one!"

"Good" she set up a chair for Nate so he could reach the counter. "What first, dry or wet ingredients?" she asked Nate.

" Dry, then we mix it some, and put in the wet stuff." Nate said he looked at Elizabeth." Do I get the mixing bowl when we're done?"

"Sure" she set aside the dry ingredients and pulled out the measuring cups. She measured out the ingredients and let Nate pour them in and mix them.

Nate smiled as he helped make the brownies.

Elizabeth laughed "I am covered in flour and egg now" she handed Nate the mixer and helped to guide his hand as he used it.

Nate smiled.

They finished and Elizabeth poured the mix into a brownie pan and set it in the oven. She looked at Nate and herself "Wow, we are a mess" she smiled. She pulled out a warm washcloth and wiped Nick's face and arms. She pulled out a spoon and pushed the mixing bowl over to him "your payment as promised."

Nate smiled." Ya! THank you!"

Ann walked in." Mmm...I can see you had fun."

Nate laughed and started scraping the brownie batter out of the bowl with his fingers.

"Lots of fun. Are you going to help us decorate them?"

Ann smiled and nodded.

"Well we still have a half hour till they are done. I am going to shower. Can you keep an eye on the brownies Ann?"

" Okay." Ann said.

Nate licked the brownie batter off his fingers.

Elizabeth smiled and went to go shower. Twenty minutes later she came out, her still wet hair hung over her shoulders. She walked in the kitchen. She sat down next to Nate "you sir are going to need a bath later."

Nate looked at her and pouted. He had finished the batter bowl. Chocolate and flour covered his face.

"After you have your bath we can have movie night and eat brownies."

Nate perked up. He smiled.

Ann smiled. She liked being with her siblings. If only her parents were here....

"I am going to get the brownies out, we can decorate them and then you can have your bath" Elizabeth walked over to the oven. She opened it up and used and oven mitt to pull it out and set it on top of the stove.

Nate nodded." Okay..."
