Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 16697 comments Well, I'm trying, Jim.

Meanwhile, I'm really being witchy. Ask Eddie! LOL

Thanks for the good wishes.

As I get older, I'm beginning to understand why so many old people are crotchety. Pain and discomfort will do that.

Jim (jimmaclachlan) You should have seen me when my arm was bad. I was miserable to live with for the better part of 2 years. I was in a lot of pain, couldn't work at carpentry, but wound up being a part time clerk at a local store. Money was terribly tight & I was going to school full time just so I could get a piece of paper to prove I knew something about computers. That was a rough patch, for sure.

But you came through it fine, Jim. It probably made a better person out of you.
At least that's what they say... (g)

Jackie (thelastwolf) | 4050 comments Oh, Joy, I hope you are feeling better. what are you taking for your cold?

I'm planning on watching Call of the Wild. I recorded it over the weekend but haven't had the time to watch it. Eric's at a game, Anthony's in the City. So it's just me and Juneau curling up on the couch tonight. Juneau likes to watch TV with me when animals are on.
One time he watched the entire hour of a wolf documentary without taking his eyes off the TV screen. He likes watching birds in flight on the TV also. I spend more time watching his eyes than whatever we're supposed to be watching, LOL
He likes sports too, he likes to watch the players running up and down the field. Silly dog.

Catamorandi (wwwgoodreadscomprofilerandi) I went shopping at Wal-Mart this morning. Except for that, I have been on GR, sat with my feet up, read The Hobbit, and watched the Home Shopping Network (with the sound off). It has been a pretty relaxing day, all in all. I hope you get well soon, Joy.

Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 16697 comments Jackie and Operandi, thank you for your good wishes. I'm feeling a bit better, but I don't think I've gotten completely well yet.

Jackie, your Juneau sounds like a very bright dog!

Operandi, I have a long shopping list for Wal-Mart but never seem to get there. I think I'm doing too much relaxing. Sometimes relaxing is better than shopping. :)
