Anybody know GINGER SNAPS? Hands down my favorite werewolf movie ever -- and, for my money, the best one, too. The sequels, not so much. And yes, Kathy, there's always AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON. Great movie. I'm also a fan of that nifty werewolf in CABIN THE WOODS.

Kathy, you're right, it is hard to choose, but that said, I wish there were more' well randered' werewolves in cinema, they either tend to lok like a man with dodgy furry make up on or overdone cgi eh-fests.

AAWIP, the reaction shots to the werewolf were excellent, you really got a sense of the fear and [panic.
Nicholson is just perfect as a werewolf, he already has that menace about him, my first thought was, had he been younger he'd have made a great Wolverine FOR THE x-Men Movies.
Not seen the original Wolfman, but I quite like some aspects of the remake:p
BNCwas good, but as you say cgi got the better of it.
I quite like Ginger Snaps as well, but you're right about the sequels Andy, they're a bit hit and miss, mostly miss!
Had no icea there was one in Cabin,haven't watched that yet, but I will!

Personally I quite liked Dog Soldiers, admittedly more for the banter between the guys rather than the werewolves which looked like guys wearing wolf heads.
Rise of the Lycans wasn't bad either, but I have yet to see a werewolf in the flesh, or in the fur that impressed and scared me completely.

Ah, yes. Forgot about DOG SOLDIERS. Fun.

I love the underworld series, but I prefer more wolf-like werewolves than man-like werewolves in books and movies. I loveeeee the werewolf from red riding hood, that one looked AMAZING like the graphics and whoever designed that one did a great job.

Twilight. Because there just what I would think of werewolves oh and red riding hood...
