Yup! I agree. The first time I read thoughtless I immediately thought of Caleb. I mean the younger Caleb not the Caleb today (still hot though)

Jared freaking Leto. Just wow!! I got to agree! Though S.C. Stephens is vocal about having Every Avenue as the main inspiration for this.

The Reason by Hoobastank reminds me of Kellan & Kiera in Thoughtless after Kellan was bringing a different girl home every night. When I read these books I was listening to Neon Trees. Their song Close to You for Thoughtless the song Trust always makes me think of Effortless.

I've been on a Hinder kick lately and I can see some of their songs totally fitting in on a soundtrack especially Thing for You, Heaven Sent I Don't Wanna Believe, and Anyone but You. I'm sure some others as well. And if I stopped and thought about it there would probably be a ton of other bands I could add to this.
Thinking of You by Katy Perry. Kind of describes the whole mess of being with someone but thinking of someone else.
For some reason whenever I hear this song I instantly think of Kellan. Even though the lyrics are talking about him having a loving relationship with his parents and how he misses them, I feel like it's something that Kellan longed for when his parents were alive...If You Could See Me Now - The Script
